I will only use EXACT quotes in this review. Most arrogant doctor Ive ever met. In our health care system it is very important to be your own advocate and use doctors recommendations to determine what is best for you. I have almost no pain anywhere in my body. I was seeing him because of a promotional consultation and was hoping to learn more from a professional about how to keep my back healthy with the type of work that I do. After a two day long sales pitch (this doctor draws everything out with all sorts of demonstrations, pictures, drawings, and very demeaning questions such as: "see that bone? Can you tell me a drug that will put that bone over here?") he told me that my back was in a bad state and declining and I "have to start off with seeing him 3 times a week for 3 months". He also wanted to give me some exercises to help "fix" my neck but couldnt give them to me until I have done 12 sessions with him (I was sitting there thinking that he was really trying to lock me in to something that I didnt need. Otherwise he would give me the exercises knowing that they wouldnt help without his adjustments). I told him that I couldnt afford that and didnt think it was necessary but I could probably see him twice a week for a month and see how things were going from there. Grab the popcorn, this is where it gets good. I just offended a very arrogant mans ego. He dramatically sighed then said that if I "want to be healthy (Im a full time climbing and rafting guide, Im plenty healthy) then I need to commit to his healing plan" he went on to say that he cant do any adjustments for me if he "is giving 110% and (Im) only willing to give 80% to (my) healing". I told him it would seem more realistic if he was asking me to do 3 times per week for a month then we dropped to a lower number. He sighed again and said he "just wouldnt be able to sleep at night knowing that (he) wasnt doing everything (he) could for my healing". Then he sadly closed my file and said that if I "wasnt willing to commit to his healing plan then theres no reason to go forward and talk about any pricing or if my insurance would cover anything". I awkwardly said oooooookaaaaaay.... He then showed me the door and said we should do a check up again in 3 months to see if I changed my mind. So just to review. I went in to learn about preventative care on a $20 promotion and left after they 1) refused to teach me anything about my posture and preventative care 2) tried EXTREMELY hard to convince me that something is wrong with me 3) they tried to sell me thousands of dollars and up to a year of their healing plan. Be careful with this guy folks. He doesnt allow you to do your job as a patient and advocate for yourself.

First and foremost do not believe these reviews on Shift, I am sure some might be genuine but the rest are definitely auto generated by the practice. I was looking for a new Chiropractor, and I wanted someone close, reliable, and good. I have been burned by many Chiropractors in the past and was looking for an actual doctor not a sales pitch. I first called the office and informed the office of an injury, I have had this injury many times before and know that an adjustment can fix the pain almost instantly. I was in a lot of pain this day so I requested that even though I was doing a consultation I wanted to be adjusted same day, the receptionist assured me that should not be a problem. I spent an hour and a half, taking quizzes, reading pamphlets and being spoken to like a child (literally drawing pictures of my brain and my spine and quizzing me on questions). I then got to see the doctor for like 5 min and he asked me all the same questions over again. When I asked him about the adjustment he refused to do it. Said he wanted to see me first thing in the morning. My time is my money, so for someone to take an hour and a half of my time then ask me to miss work in the morning, this was a lot for me. I decide to give it a chance anyway as I was in serious pain and made a follow up the next day in the afternoon. Again was pulled into a room ( NOT WITH THE DOCTOR) talked to like a child, accused of being EXTREMELY Unhealthy ( mind you I do yoga 6 days a week and am an active runner), then was told I needed to pay for 3 adjustments up front just to see how I take to adjustments, then I could finally get my health plan. Never saw the doctor once on this day. The sales pitch was so thick, the biggest ounce of bullshit I have ever heard and keep in mind I have been burned by chiropractors before. I literally got up and walked out. I calmly and collectively told the lady giving me the pitch my concerns, to which she could give me no real answers. My anxiety in this office was higher than it ever was before I got there. Over all it was a huge waste of time and I never really even got to see a doctor or get adjusted. When I got up and walked out I anticipated I would maybe receive a call or an email apologizing for this agonizing experience. But received nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Find a real doctor and save yourself the time, money, and the sales pitch.

I used to be so skeptical of chiropractic care. And then I met Dr. Marco and the SHIFT staff. A little history - I have been suffering from migraines for the last 10 years - usually averaging one about every 6 months. About a year ago, I began to get the migraines much more frequently - at least one a month. I did some research and found that an alternative to some really strong medicine and anti-depressants was chiropractic care. I was recommended SHIFT by several of my friends who have been going there for various ailments. The initial consult was just 27$ and I was NOT surprised to learn that despite my healthy lifestyle, I was very misaligned. I had been in two car accidents over the last 20 years and had never properly healed. After the initial consult, I was asked to try out Dr. Marco over three adjustments totaling $150. I did some checking and found this to be comparable to other chiropractors in the area. I cannot begin to tell you the instant relief I felt, even after my first adjustment. I am so happy to say that after 6 months, I am migraine free. I could not be happier. The level of service from Dr. Marco and his staff is personal and professional. Dr. Marco does not want to give you a quick fix and shove you out the door. He wants you to heal. And he cares about you as a person and as a patient. Seriously, going for my adjustment is literally the best part of my week. Its 5 min of time that is all focused on me healing and being the best I can possibly be. If you just want a quick fix, go somewhere else. Dr. Marco is the best of his profession, not only a good doctor but a good person. He will work with you financially so that you can focus on getting better instead of worrying about your bill. I highly recommend SHIFT for your chiropractic needs.
