I normally do not publicly rate any buisness establishment however the Stamford Veterinary Center deserves to be recognized for the excellent veterinary center they are. The moment one steps into the waiting area both myself and my cat were made to feel very much "at home". It has a very low key atmosphere yet is run very efficiently. Whether its to have my cats nails clipped or have her in for a yearly exam and shots, everyone is friendly and professional. The doctor took the time to answer all of my questions regarding my cats health and actually talked me out of doing tests that he felt werent necessary at that time but might be,dependent on results of bloodwork taken at this visit. No need to worry about having your emotions taken advantage of by the doctors or staff- very refreshing compared to past experiences. Bottom line, I do not want to say anything else good because selfishly, I dont want this practice to become so busy that my cat (and I ) become just a number due to swarms of people that wish to utilize this practice. On the otherhand, it isnot fair to the staff at the SVC , or the public to not let everyone know about this hidden or overlooked treasure in Stamford.

I have been a patient of Dr. Janet Tripletts for 13 years. She is loving and sweet, and my Lucy, a pure bred Maltese and I adored her. It has been a particularly tryng few months since her diagnosis of Cancer this winter. Dr. Triplett went above and beyond for Lucy in contacting specialists, assisting in the most cost effective treatment plan for us, and being there for Mom and patient through a very trying time. While I lost my Lucy now 3 months ago, she has been our friend, and the best doctor we could have ever asked for. She guided a new puppy Mom, through middle age of us both, to now our senior years.... We were family to Dr. Triplett, she is treated us like we were her only patient always.. Obviously her work is a true labor of love...While we didnt know Dr, Suppo,until his opening of the center, he consulted on several occassions, and it was sincerely appreciated. Dr. Suppo and the staff of Stamford Vet Center literally saved my little Yorkie, Dollys life. We were in CT for a family emergency & Jody was so kind to have us come right in. Dolly had a foreign object lodged in her stomach a couple days prior & wasnt eating. Her blood sugar had drastically dropped and we didnt know how ctitical she was. Everyone was just great, caring & very professional. They kept her for a few days between monitoring, meds & feeding, working on her to get her energy back - updating us every step of the way - just putting our minds at ease to know she was in good hands. A big thank you!! And Dolly thanks you too! She is now healthy as a horse, eating like one & got her spunk back ;)

This is a terrible place for grooming. We called 2 weeks in advance to make an appointment for Saturday because we work during the week. We arrived to drop off our dog for service and they said we did not have an appointment, that it was for the day before. They would not even apologize and said that the groomer was ill and not there today anyway. The woman at the front desk was very rude and inconsiderate. She did not even offer an apology or try to book another appointment for us. She just walked away. I will never go back there and will tell all my friends about this horrible experience. Stay away!! We wish we could give them NO stars.

I recently had a semi-emergency with my 12 year Chihuahua and I am extremely grateful and impressed with the care he received. Dr. Newton was courteous, professional, and sympathetic. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me as well as answer all of my questions. I will definitely continue to use Stamford Veterinary Center and I highly recommend Dr. Newton.

Dr. Suppo is wonderful! He takes great care of my furbaby! Our family loves the staff, they are like family and they treat my Memphis like royalty! We absolutely love them and HIGHLY recommend them. I cannot say enough good things. My Memphis attends "day care" every day and he is soooo excited every morning to see all of his human and furry friends.

I let my dog for bathe and cut his hair. It really was awful ad they left it. I hope it doesnt happen again whith other people anf their pets. We really were very sad because they left
