Up until today, my last 3 years with this office have been great. However, to my disappointment, the office is not very efficient when it comes to change. 6 months ago, my Husband started a new job. He left Manhattan to be closer to myself and our 4 kids. In doing this, he took a 50% pay cut. Although its great having him close, we need a little extra help financially until he gets his raises and his electricians license which he is going to school for. We were put on state insurance for the time being. My last appointment was six months ago, just before the insurance change took place and, while I was there, I informed the receptionist that our insurance we be changing and we would be on Husky. She informed me that it would be no problem and that, as long as I was a current patient, they would accept that coverage. I was also told that I would have to call my closer to my next appointment date (November). So, I called yesterday to make an appointment and they were very nice until I told them that I was on state insurance. I was then told that they had to check with another resource to find out if they could take me. They told me that they would call right back at 2:00 and did not. I called them back at 4:00 as they closed at 4:30. I was told at that point that they were trying to call the administrator and probably would not get back to me until tomorrow (today) I just called back now (2:00) and was told that the decision is "under review" when I explained, again, what I was told six months ago and inquired if anything had changed, I was told that this is the way it is. I asked the woman on the other end if she knew when the review would be final and her answer was "No....I dont and we will call you back when we know" and hung up on me. Evidently, being on state gives people the right to treat you like you dont matter. My Husband and I both work very hard and I am offended. Prior to this, they were great and as soon as they heard "Husky" they lost respect. We will have our own insurance again soon and I would never go back to this office!

Im writing this review because like some of the other former patients, I was treated like a pice of trash for being on Husky. When I began going to this office during my pregnancy everything was fine. My weekly visits with Dr. Garritano and Dr. Barnaby went well. My sons birth was great and I was able to come in and get a follow up post birth. However, 6-8 months ago all of a sudden I was "discharged"! Excuse me I said? I was told that I signed a paper that I was discharged which wasnt true. My primary care doctor needed my blood work to conduct a physical and I was told I had to pay for it. The receptionist told the office manager Dr. Sebash and he never returned my calls. I was never called on the phone or sent via email regarding this. And if they no longer take Husky then be courteous enough to at least let your patients know. For anyone reading this, please make sure that if you were a patient and all of a sudden can no longer get serviced at this office, you voice your concerns. Let your complaints be known via Husky as I have filed a complaint and do not settle for being treated as if your voice and health do not matter!!! Im disgusted, disappointed, and feel that it is discriminatory for anyone on state insurance. Also contact the Better Business Bureau.

Longtime Patient: You wont find better care than here! I have been with Dr Choudharys practice since she opened her own practice and was literally one file in two small milk crate boxes. I had horrible experiences with care at other practices and she came highly recommended to me. This practice offers a serene environment, punctuated by conversation and laughter as you witness all levels of staff interacting with patients and one another with sincerity, love and concern. The level of care is top-notch: the practitioners and service providers care, personally and professionally. Over time, the practice has expanded several times, with Dr Choudhary adding additional doctors and support staff. Never have I been disappointed nor felt short-changed in any way in my level of care or treatment. Any of my billing issues have always been resolved with my conscientousness, patience, persistence, and follow-up. Suggest to reviewers with negative experiences to work in a courteous and professional manner to resolve with the office.

Dr. Choudharys office used to be the place to go, she was fantastic. Her office grew too fast and she added doctors who are not qualified and do not deliver the same level of service as she did. Her main office staff left out of frustration and was replaced with a new group of employees who are rude, unorganized and continually lie to the doctors about what you are saying. It is impossible to get an appointment, the office staff will lose your information, lie to you and overbill you. I voiced my concerns as I had been a patient for 5 years and was unhappy with my level of service (i.e, being intentionally hung up on), I was put in contact with an even ruder office manager who had zero concern for my feelings and suggested I look to go somewhere else, and that he wasnt interested in making amends. Whatever you do, avoid this practice!

I have been a patient of Dr. Choudharys for 10 years. I switched to this practice when I became pregnant with my first child and do not regret that choice for a second! Dr. Choudhary and her staff are amazing. She delivered all 4 of my children and I couldnt imagine anyone else I would have wanted to be there to deliver them. I have never felt rushed during any of my appointments. Prenatal or otherwise. She always takes time to really listen to her patients which shows her level of compassion. The office staff is always prompt with returning my calls or requests for labs to send to my primary physician as well. A truly welcoming practice from the office staff to the sonographer to the docs. Wouldnt change a thing!

This is an amazing practice each Doctor takes there time with you to really listen. If your looking for a quick visit this is not the practice for you. If your looking for total care and time to be heard and a Doctor that really cares then this is the practice for you. There are wonderful people working here. The staff is kind considerate and most of all ready to listen to you. Dont be fooled by negativity at the end of the day you want a Doctor that Cares and this is what Dr Choudhary and Doctor Barnaby do. They take of your needs. I love this practice

Dr. Ronika Choudhary & her entire staff is excellent. I have been going there for a really long time now, and I have always had a great experience with them. I couldnt have found a better practice. Dr. Ronika Choudhary always spends her precious time with her patients knowing them & learning about them, their problems and goes out of her way to take care of them! She is very thorough, warm & gentle. I highly recommend her and her practice to anyone who needs Ob/Gyn!
