I went in to see my new Nurse Practioner (new to the area). I needed refills on rx in the next week or so. I was told they had my pharmacys number and would fax them in. I called my pharmacy 4 times within 2 days after the rx was supposed to be faxed. They had not received them. I was told to wait a couple of days more to make sure it wasnt "in process". I called WFHC a week later and they said that the fax had been denied a week before... so why didnt you call me to see why it had not gone through!?!?! They said they would fax again. I waited 2 more days.. called my pharmacy, still not there. Called WFHC (who at this point had still NOT called me to tell me it didnt go through). They said that yes, it did not go through again, and could I give them the correct fax number. I told them I had 1 pill left and that they needed to CALL IN immediately so that I could get my meds (thank god no serious condition). Very poorly organized. I am moving my care right after I get my meds!

Dr. Anne Knott is a fantastic provider. She goes above and beyond when diagnosing an issue. A family member is under her care with chronic conditions and I feel 100% comfortable that she is looking out for their best interest. HOWEVER Dr. Ann Goering is one of the worst providers Ive met. I have heard terrible things about her but I usually proceed with caution knowing that peoples opinions vary. I was a patient at WFH under a different providers care. When faced with a serious problem, I was treated like a complete degenerate. Now I know that the rumors Ive heard about her are true - if you are an upper class, wealthy individual with no issues, shes great. She caters to the granola crowd, offering alternative treatments and doesnt argue with the non-vaxers. If you dont fall into one of those categories, do not call her. If you do, youll be looking to switch providers as soon as you meet her.

Our 10 month old has been Dr. Staats patient since she was born. We love her and the practice. They are down to earth, knowledgeable and take the time to care for their patients. Scheduling is easy and we never have to wait long for our appointments. We even stopped in the office one day our daughter was sick, just to schedule our appointment. Dr. Staats was willing to take 5 minutes in between appointments to see us right then and there! She listens to us and takes all of the time we need to discuss things like immunizations (which shes been understanding and helpful as weve done an adjusted vaccine schedule). Highly recommend...our whole family just switched to this practice!

Worst service ever... I was new to the area and needed a new primary care doctor. I called winooski family health and couldnt get a hold of them so I drove to their office. I spoke with the nurse and told them that I needed them to get my records faxed over and never heard from them again. Never once did I get a call to schedule an appointment or tell me that they were unable to retrieve my records. 5 MONTHS LATER, I get a call from them stating that they are have trouble getting my records but were going to schedule me for an appointment anyway. I laughed and declined as I already had a doctor who actually cares about me.

We have been using Winooski Family Health for three years & I only have very good things to say. Their staff has always been helpful, accommodating, & had provided well-informed advice on various issues. They have always promptly returned our calls both for administrative issues & the few emergencies weve had. Ann is our doctor & she is fantastic, although weve seen everyone by now and the other doctors have been great too. We were with UHC before we switched to Winooski Family Health and we are MUCH happier now. As parents of 3 young children I very highly recommend Winooski Family Practice.

Dr. Goering has been my primary care provider for many many years and I think she is terrific. What I appreciate greatly about Dr Goering is her openess,and respect for alternative approaches to wellness and healing as valuable pieces of my integrated wellness efforts. I also appreciate her thoughtful and conservative approach to addressing and managing health issues and challenges as they arise. As far as the office staff at WFP, they are well organised and dependably responsive to my medical needs when I need them to be.

Dr. Anne Knott is terrific as are the other doctors I have seen there. I prefer natural supplements when possible and Dr. Knott is very knowledgeable in this area. Dr. Knott and the other doctors I have seen always listen to my concerns and explore solutions with me. I have been to many other doctors and offices in the area. I have found Winooski Family Health to be the best for me so far.

A friend recommended WFH to me perhaps 10 years ago. Ann Goering is my physician.... she always has a natural alternative to a health problem. She makes sure I get my flu shot... she has evening hours ! Ive seen other professionals there when an emergency arises and have found everyone right on the mark.
