Connecticut Ear, Nose & Throat I called for an appointment for ringing in the left ear, pain in my ears plus discomfort with a gland on the left side of my throat along with post nasal drip. I was referred to Dr. Eisen in Wethersfield along with a hearing test. I first had the hearing test which was not that bad. I then met Dr. Eisen who came into the room with an attitude. I tried to explain my problem and Dr. Eisen cut me off saying he only wanted to hear my symptoms. When I told him my symptoms he just shrugged his shoulders and said he could not help me because I needed a Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor. He said he was only an ear doctor and I should make an appointment with another doctor in the office. I was not told he only was for the ear. When I called for the appointment, I explained my entire problem to the receptionist. Dr. Eisen was with me for all of 90 seconds. I did not make an appointment with another doctor from the Connecticut Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, PC. I feel I was misled. I asked for my $50.00 but was told no. I did have the hearing test but I will call my insurance and explain to them about the 90 seconds and not told the truth.

Ive been to this practice twice, and both times was dissatisfied. the first time was for a sinus infection which had lingered past 5 weeks.. the Dr who saw me did not ask about or explain the invasive procedure before he performed it- a very dangerous thing for a person with my connective tissue disorder. The second time I arrived an hour early to get handicapped parking ( I am a wheelchair user) and then waited two hours to be seen by the audiologist. During the hearing test, she finally realized that the equipment was broken and she had to repeat the test with me screaming from the booth "YES" each time I heard a sound. One of my degrees is in speech pathology and audiology and I found this to be extremely unprofessional- plus I am unsure that my test results were valid. Nevertheless, my insurance company was billed. I will not be returning to this practice, and as I was chosen by the local Johns Hopkins team to develop a service providers list, this group will NOT be on it.

Well worth it. Ive been with this practice for a few years now and have no complaints. The staff is professional, open to what you have to say. Especially Dr.Bonaiuto. He is very attentive to his work and listens each time to my questions, comments, or concerns. He has even taken the time to explain to me part of the ear structure and why if some contents of the inner ear dont function properly, then what type of effects they have.

My 2 yr old was seen here and we loved it. Dr. Bonaiuto was so great with her. He made her feel so comfortable. He preformed surgery on her, and even that experience was amazing. The facility is so clean and neat. The secretarys are all so friendly and kind. I am very happy we chose to bring our 2 yr old here. Thank you Dr. Bonaiuto and staff!

After waiting a month in pain to see the doctor, he tells me nothing is wrong with my ear. Im still in pain and its only getting worse, now I hear pulsing on my ear. And the receptionists are so unprofessional I came to the desk and there was food all over add to that personal patient information just lying around.
