One Medical Group isnt a doctors office, it’s a place to see and be seen, people. I used to walk into my old doctors office and avert other patients eyes while I hid behind a Ficus tree reading last years March issue of National Geographic. It just didnt make sense that someone as responsible and stylish as me was in that drab room being contaminated by the smell of rubbing alcohol and latex gloves shamed by the fact that my immune system wasnt impenetrable. Even in my Im-so-obviously-dressed-down-on-purpose-because-Im-under-the-weather-guys-not-because-Im-unfashionable-because-you-know-I-still-look-fierce sick clothes, I was embarrassed to be there. At my old office I would try and be patient while I waited 25, 30, sometimes 45 minutes after my appointment time to be called by the nurse. I mean sure, the pictures in Nat Geo were colorful and reading about this Brazilian tribe one time that I cant remember the name of now was interesting, but that didnt take away from the fact that I would rather be reading Us Weekly, Entertainment, or anything recent where I could learn useless facts about faux important people while I pondered why I even made an appointment at all since precise timing at this office was like customer service - nonexistent. At One Medical Group, I am proud to be sick. Every time I walk in that place I think, "Mmhmm, Ive arrived." The friendly, smart, and attractive staff (um yes, looks matter) greet me with genuinely warm smiles; even when I call I can feel them smiling as they help with everything from navigating my ridiculously confusing health insurance plan to retrieving my health records from the afore mentioned place that shall not be named. After they check me in, my appointments always, always, always start on time, which, if youre an in-demand person like moi you know how valuable this is and would gladly pay three times the measly membership fee for this benefit alone. On my first visit when my name was called, my provider, the one who I would see the entire appointment, appeared in the waiting room. I didnt have to speak to a nurse about my symptoms only to repeat myself 15 minutes later to my doctor or get on a Balance Beam Scale (although I actually didnt mind doing that at my old office; I have a perfect body) or spend any more of my time with someone other than the person diagnosing me. My provider and I had a non-hurried, thorough discussion about my ailments that was so serene I swear at one point when I glanced out the window I saw a rainbow. Oh, and did I mention everything is virtual? I made an appointment on their app quicker than I ordered my new super quiet electric pet clippers to give weekly touch-ups to my poopsies. (DC summer is fast approaching and my long-haired animals obvi have to look and feel fabulous if Im going to claim them.) Then, during checkout the amazing admins asked me if I wanted to schedule my physical AND lady business checkup in the same appointment. I realize this part of the review may scare men who arent real men but whatevs, it would be totally irresponsible of me not to inform all women that visiting the gyny office with pink scrubs (the staff at One Medical patouey scrubs), to make sure everything downstairs is running first class is time that could be spent doing wonderful things like feeding the homeless or cleaning the Anacostia River or getting a Mani-Pedi. So yeah, if the stellar service isnt enough to convert you to a One Medical Lifer, then maybe you should just visit the office. Youll want to move in. The furniture is chic, there’s lemon water, and it smells like daises. I looked around for a bouquet of flowers on my first visit and didnt find one so I dont know. Its like magic or something. Join One Medical Group and I promise, theyll never ever subject you to the perils of reading an outdated magazine.

I had no issues with One Medical Group till I had an urgent need to be seen & I was signed with " Dr." Shilpi Agarwal who I guess had an opening. VERY unprofessional and lack of compassion with being harsh put downs that Ive never expected a doctor act the way she did & on how she was dictating me that I felt insulted like I was stupid and was unaware of her poor practice. Agarwal if youre reading this looks like you got your damn PHD to fill your pockets rather then care about people who get sick and are vulnerable, either change your way of treating patients or perhaps consider different job before you get screwed through a malpractice attorney. Obviously I am not the only patient that has issue with her.

The main reason I love this place is that the medical staff is well-qualified. It is not easy with most insurance plans to find a good primary care physician and you only need to take one look at the online CVs of the doctors to see that its easy to find a good doctor here. Secondly, they always keep the appointments. I have been to so many offices where you spend all day waiting hour after hour well beyond your initial appointment time. Very professional in everything they do. Lab work is really easy too. It costs a little out of pocket to join every year, but you can put that on a defined benefit plan, and its well worth it.

When I say the best Doctors office ever I mean it!!!! Great Staff from the Front Desk to the Doctors to the person taking blood yes even the lady with the big Needle is great. Everyone is great and the Access to your Doctor or any of the well Qualified Doctors is unreal. I used the online portal to ask my Doctor a question and she answered back in 15 minutes do you hear me she answered back not a assistance she answered and was able to help with my situation. Did i mention that on my Birthday yes i had a appointment on my birthday they all greeted me with a happy birthday wishes which made my day.

Having just moved here from Canada I was hesitant and nervous to find a new doctor. I had a bad experience with another office in DC and I can say by far this is the best office and team I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. This office is better than anything Ive seen in Canada. Honestly. They are highly professional, on-time, listened to everything I had to say and maintain a modern, clean office. The staff is VERY competent.

I have had nothing but great service. They take my hard to find out of state coverage for insurance and covered everything I needed. They even take lab works on site every day. p.s. LOVE the feel of the office, they try and make it feel like an comfortable home with upscale home furnishings.

Some of the most professional and qualified doctors and nurses in DC. Appointments are on time, and its get in and see someone whenever you need to. Seriously, one of the most well run doctor offices Ive ever been in.

This is the best medical experience Ive ever had. No superfluous nonsense, no weight, temperature, and blood pressure ceremonies... just a helpful, on-topic conversation and the script I needed. Well done.

They say part of what you pay for is same day appointments. I had an urgent need with a 2 day window of opportunity to see a doctor, and was turned away as a paying member.

Im sure the office is great but I had to leave because Julia C. Phans review made the place so vile, everyone began to throw up immediately in her wake.
