I found The Retina Group of Washington by asking friends for referrals. A close friend with a significant retinal issue referred me to this practice. Im glad I took her advice. After getting diagnosed with Central Serous Chlorioretinapathy, I saw a couple of doctors, but couldnt find anyone who was willing to take the time to answer my questions and discuss options. I could tell at my first appointment that my experience at The Retina Group of Washington was going to be a much better experience. It is a well-run and efficient office with staff who are well-trained and great with patients. The doctors conducted more tests (tests that previous doctors had skipped), confirmed the diagnosis, took the time to answer all of my questions, and most importantly established enough trust that I knew had found the right place. Dr. Aziz Khanifar in particular was awesome. I found him to be very patient, thorough, and kind. One of the best doctors Ive ever encountered in any field. I will highly recommend both Dr. Khanifar and The Retina Group of Washington to anyone with retinal issues.

Dr. Vu was one of the worse doctors I have ever seen. He was extremely rude, didnt explain the diagnosis, and then got an attitude when I asked questions about the diagnosis. I would recommend the center but I wouldnt recommend Dr. Cuong Vu.
