When I was 11 years old living in Philadelphia I was badly injured pulling my sled up the "walk up path on the side of the hill. The snow was thick and the walk up path hard solid ice. I had boots on up to my knees. Two boys came speeding down on one sled (one on top of the other) and slammed into my right leg. It knocked me down and left a large gash in my chin bone. I was taken to the hospital emergency room where they stitched it up and sent me home. I used crutches for 2 weeks. No one realized how the impact had completely twisted my hips which stayed out of place. That was many years ago and chiropractic care was not a practice my parents considered. Years later I started experiencing headaches and pain down my right leg, and excruciating lower back pain. I had lumbar surgery where they fused my thoraxic 5 ,4, and 3. Through my pastor I was led to a chiropractor in Philly. He started adjusting me 3-4 times a week. After moving to South Florida and working in Plantation, I found Dr Mickey! I have been adjusted by over 60 chiropractors. Finding Dr Mickey was the greatest blessing I have ever experienced. He has made amazing changes in my body. I dont think there is a bone that he does not adjust. He has saved my life and made it possible for me to carry on with my caregiving and pet sitting that require having a strong body. I praise God daily for putting Dr Mickey in my life!!

As part of a wellness program at work, I started seeing Dr. Mickey and his team on a trial basis a little over 7 months ago. Im one of those rare overweight guys whose back troubles are not in the lower back but the upper-to-mid back; I have for over 20 years, since my mid-20s, carried all of my stress and tension there, and I have gotten so knotted I can barely twist in my chair. As I am also diabetic, the stress has been an important co-factor in a downward spiral of health over the past few years. Right away, I knew Id made the right decision to start a course of regular visits. Im now in my once-a-week maintenance phase, and I can tell you that I generally feel worlds better. While I am still an armchair warrior, I can move and twist without discomfort, and I have felt more ambitious about my exercise, weight loss, and related goals. Dr. Mickey, Dr. Chris, and the front-desk staff make me feel like part of a team which extends past just me and the staff -- other patients I have met, even for a few minutes at a time, get wrapped up in the mood and rhythm of the office and strangers share tips, warm laughter, and camaraderie. The TL/DR version: I love these guys.

I started getting adjusted by Dr. Cohen and Dr. Chris about a month ago through a program from work. I was experiencing headaches, shoulder pain and lower back pain. After the first week of adjustments all of my pain had gone and I started receiving treatment at all of the other offices. There atmosphere in each office is like a breath of fresh air. Dr. Mickey and his team are the very best! I used to have severe migraines and lower back pain from my car accident last year. Now Ive been actively getting care from him for about a year now, and I can tell you his visits definitely make a difference. I can finally go back to doing back walk overs, cartwheels, and other strenuous activities without having to worry about pulling something out of place. Id say chiropractic care is more than just a place to go after accidents, it is a lifestyle!
