Worst experience that I have experienced at a medical practice ever. I have been trying to conceive for the past 5 years due to fertility issues with my husband. Thanks to the help of my wonderful IVF doctor (Dr. Christie) my husband and I finally achieved pregnancy. Therefore, I had to find an OB doctor since I’m now pregnant. I logged into the Memorial Miramar website and came across Dr. Hugo Ferrara at NEW LIFE OB/GYN. I decided to schedule an appointment despite the mixed ratings that I read on the internet. I should have listened to the previous warnings that others wrote about this awful practice. I went to the first appointment on July 6, was greeted by really rude staff in front desk. At that moment, I got a bad feeling about this place. Yet I stayed and wanted to meet the doctor. Instead a lady walked in, didnt introduce herself, and just started talking to me. I stopped her and inquired as to who she was, she replied by saying that she was the nurse practitioner. She proceeded with an ultrasound, which was dark and I couldn’t even see the images. I asked her if she could add the volume so that I could hear my babys heart beat but she said that the machine had no sound. They should invest in new equipment because their equipment is old and outdated. She didnt even tell me if everything looked good with my baby, I had to ask her. I was expecting to meet the Dr. Ferrara but I never saw him. The following week I went to their Hialeah office to do my genetic testing. My appointment was at 11:00 A.M. but I wasnt seen until 2:00 p.m. and thats only because I complained to the front desk. There were only three people in the waiting room so there was no reason for the delay. Anyways, this lady calls me in takes me into a room to draw my blood. This lady was awful, didnt wash her hands, she didnt wear gloves, and yet she drew my blood. The blood work took only five minutes and yet I waited 3 hours for this. I was so frustrated, feeling nauseous, and really bad sciatic pain. Therefore, I asked to speak to a doctor or nurse practitioner to address my concerns and questions and even maybe prescribed something for my nausea since I vomited earlier that morning. THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME THAT NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO ME, AND THAT THEY WOULD TAKE MY INFORMATION SO THAT SOMEONE COULD CALL ME BACK. I WAS NOT SURPRISED WHEN NOBODY CALLED ME BACK. I tried calling their office several times and they just put me on hold and never returned any of 100 my calls. Of course, I will not ever return to these people who call themselves NEW LIFE OB/GYN. They should be called the fake OB/GYN. I do not recommend these idiots to anyone. Please save yourselves the trouble and go to a real doctor. Awful service and very unprofessional staff.

Its horrible los doctores nunca estan ahi solo la doctora y siempre hay q esperar como 3 horas para que te atiendan ademas la front desk super falta de respeto y ademas no sabe tatar con pacientes te cierra la ventana en la cara le preguntas algo y con muy mal caracter esa muchacha no deberia estar trabajando ahi le preguntas algo y con tremenda mal forma en fin no dan ganas de atenderse ahi si no fuera tan complicado cambiarse de medico creeanme q ahi no seguia

I have no idea if the people commenting here are paid by the doctors office or what but I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone. HORRIBLE!!! doctors and staff (mainly staff). We had consultation with one of the 3 doctors; this guy was soooo wanting to leave for his vacation it was like talking to a wall. Guy gave little to no information to my wife (compared to our new ob gyn) even another doctor who was working on the same office batch on this guy for the lack of information provided. We requested medical records 1 month ago and they have not provided those to our new office. Called about 10 times to have them do it ... no luck. The results of the test were suppose to arrive in 2 weeks. She called about 5 times after two weeks...guess what the test was not even sent to the lab (WTF). Do yourself a favor and find an office. Any other office at this point would do.

Llame por una cita y la persona que me atiende la llamada me dice soy la operadora y le respondi podria saber con quien hablo. Ella dijo soy la operadora. Pase a decirle necesito hablar con una persona que se identifique por favor. Y me dejó en espera por mas de 30 minutos. Seguro como es Lunes tiene esa mala actitud.

My #1 obgyn, you will not regret this doctor office very wonderful nice staff and doctors are the best best best....#1 they truly are ...I never had any problems. I had my baby boy in 2014 a C-section and I was so nervous but with my doctor making me feel comfortable as always in every appointment and staff I stop being so nervous.when it was my time to give birth my doctor was by my side telling me not to worry everything will be ok and my husband support Thank you honey & thank you doctor and staff I appreciate you all...have a beautiful day.

El lugar es muy amplio y agradable. El tiempo de espera fue mínimo. La atención del personal fue excelente, desde la recepcionista, la enfermera y el doctor. Estoy muy satisfecha de mi visita a New Life a atenderme con el Dr. Hugo Ferrara.

I recently had a baby and It was a c-section and I also got my tubes removed. I couldnt have asked for a better doctor. They helped me step by step for the procedure. Dr. Ferrara made me feel confortable in the surgery room plus the other staff in the room. After the surgery I was up and walking by the 6th hour. Normal pain nothing that I couldnt take. He and his other partner are great doctors I couldnt have asked for better doctors to delivery my baby.

Only one doctor is worth here. Besides the staff need to improve services asap. My wife with almos 9 months of pregnancy We waited almost 90 minutes to get attended. We asked and the answer was theres no room available. We couldnt believe this. Why would you schedule so many appointments if you have no room. Very poor. Looking on have another location do our process.

I had my second child with dr Ferrara. I had a csection for 12:00 and it was almost 2 and he still wasnt there. I was so nervous they asked me if I wanted another dr to do it cause he was running late.. So another dr did my surgery.. very unprofessional!!! The wait time there is horrible as well... I am pregnant with my 3rd child and Im looking for another dr...

THE WORST PLACE ON EARTH, THE OFFICE PEOPLE DOESNT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND DR. MEJIA IS VERY RUDE TO PATIENTS. WENT TWICE TO SEE DR. FERRARA AND BOTH TIME HE WASNT AVAILABLE AND THE FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. MEJIA WAS NOT VERY NICE PLUS HE WAS VERY RUDE BECAUSE AFTER ALL MY WAITING HE DIDNT WANT TO SEE ME.

I have been here on three occasions, with my wife for simple shots always with appointments, it is not worth having these appointments always have to wait for much to be taken care of. Come early if you want to leave early from this place. Front desk are always rude.
