Worst experience ever! Completely appalled by the treatment and disrespect I received from Dr. Patel. His office staff although polite most of the time, was incompetent. My first appt, saw Nurse Practitioner who prescribed and category X drug to me when I was pregnant(she didnt bother checking first). I lost the baby, possibly due to medicine, who knows! Then I was later scheduled for follow up labs only to show up and wait for an hour to find out the lab tech went home. Apparently they didnt tell her she had a patient waiting and no one else bothered to realize Im sitting there waiting to be seen. I was rightfully upset at my waste of time and asked for my copay to be refunded. When I finally got the labs done and was to be seen my Dr Patel, I was treated like trash. I showed up early, paid my copay and waited patiently. After being called back and having vitals taken, I was left in a room alone for nearly an hour. I finally peeked out to see what was going on and Dr Patel coldly brushed me off and said hed be right with me. I stated that it would be nice for someone to check in with the patient if they are to be kept waiting that long. He then came in the exam room, closed the door behind him and began to get in my face and tell me how tired of me complaining he is. I was floored and disgusted by this treatment by a supposed professional. Needless to say I have to find a new doctor. No doctor should ever raise his voice to a patient let alone close himself alone in a room with a female patient to yell at her. Disgusting behavior, unbecoming of a doctor!

Initially requested for appointment online, but there was no response. Then left a voicemail, still no response. Called again and finally somebody answered and was able to make an appointment. The Pediatrician ordered blood work for my 2 kids. After a month I followed up the results and was told a nurse would call me. Its been a week still no call. The Pediatrician also made an endocrinology referral. The Endocrinology office had been calling for more than 2 weeks but this clinic never responded, and the specialist had to cancel our appointment. My husband had to go to this clinic to voice out our issues and all they said was they did not get a call from the Orlando Health Endocrinology. This clinics phone # is published in every search engine and different employees from the hospital system have been calling them. In this situation, its easy to see which entity is more credible....Something is terribly wrong in this clinics practice. Also, regarding the blood work results, my husband was told, they did not get the results from Doctor Phillips Hospital. So is that the reason, why nobody even called from this clinic to inform me why there is no evaluation of results? So if a patient has undiagnozed leukemia, this Pediatric office will never know until later when its too late. Is that what you call patient care? Their patient care stops as soon as they get their reimbursements from insurance companies. No more follow-up call or whatsoever. Its all about getting patients in and get insurance reimbursements.

Presented at clinic on August 25th at 8:12 p.m. for evaluation of an injury which I sustained 20 minutes prior. Note that this is 48 minutes prior to the posted closing time. The open sign was not lit, however there were two female employees (receptionist/nurse) behind the desk and an gentlemen who appeared to be either delivering or picking up labs. There was one female with male child waiting in the lobby (presumably a patient). I entered the office and asked if they were still open and the employees indicated that they were not seeing additional patients. I asked if a nurse or physician could look at my injury and evaluate for stitches. Receptionist left desk to ask and returned with a nurse/pa (female, multiple piercings left ear). She explained that they dont have time to do a full evaluation, and I should go elsewhere. I again asked for a basic evaluation, further explaining that my mode of transportation is a bicycle. She denied and suggested another clinic. I asked if I could get there on a bicycle, and the staff all agreed that it was too far away. At no point did any member of the staff ask any questions about the nature or severity of the injury. My left hand thumb was heavily bandaged and iced. This is a health care facility which appears to be more focused on profitability than it is in servicing the communitys healthcare needs. *Not concerned with patient health. *Does not honor posted hours. Office front and internet both state closing time of 9 p.m.

Dr. Patel is very nice, and has earned this location the only other star Id be willing to give it. But in the past two years, Ive been to this office twice for my "free" annual exam. Ive opted to pay their minimal convenience fee to have blood drawn there, and both visits have left me with bills that are higher than they should be. This past time, I got charged $70 just to see Dr. Patel for the exam that is free with my insurance policy, and was assured they would reverse the charge. Its been over a month and they still havent sent the refund in for a fee they prematurely charged me in the first place. I dont need to get into the details of it all here, but the worst part of all of this is the amount of time Ive spent just trying to get a hold of someone in the office who can fix the problem. You have to wait on hold just to reach someone in reception who can then route you to TWO different locations where no one is available to pickup. So you call once, get routed to a voicemail and leave a message. Then you call AGAIN to wait on hold to get routed to another department to leave a message. And thats if youre lucky enough to not reach receptions own voicemail box. I came to this office for the convenience of its location and have paid dearly for that decision. Dont make the same mistake I did. Still waiting to get my rightful money back, and I will most definitely not be returning.

I used to speak so highly of this office and always referred people but never again. Had an appt that the office cancelled because I didnt confirm my appt. I spoke with a person and confirmed. No apologies and offered to reschedule me for later in the day. I explained I already left work once and wouldnt be able to come back. Asked to speak with someone else and kept getting asked who I spoke with... I barely remember the dr.s names at the practice let alone an appt setter... still no apologies and I wait 10 minutes for the the young man to come back and say she is in a meeting you can have a seat and she will be out to see you... 5 minutes 20 minutes 30 minutes no idea how long the "meeting" is. If I blow off my appt I have to pay but you blow my appt off and I get....? Inconvenienced. Never again will my wife, kids, or I be back here. Such a shame.

Dr. Patel and his staff are amazing! When I first went there he showed me around and described to me his idea of an ideal doctors office. A place were people could get more services at lower costs with more effective treatment. Dr. Patel not has only touched my life by my relatives that do not live in my area. I weighed 225 lbs and now because of him I am down to 159lbs. My cholesterol levels and many other problems were addressed and within 6 months, because of my persistence and Dr. Patels (Morgans) guidance I have completely reversed my health. This guidance not only led to better health, but influenced my parents to follow in the same path. Dr. Patel is not your average Doctor, he goes above and beyond. We need more Drs like him!
