Brand new patient. I called to make appt, Heidi asked for name, address, then she asked for my ethnicity/race!!!! when I refused to answer she said cant schedule an appt without it. From this point this is where her hateful attitude went from bad to worse. I asked to speak with Manager and was xfrd to person #2 who was not the mgr (Julie). Without allowing me to utter a word, Julie said I understand your having a problem with Heidi; Ill get you a new rep to speak with. She now xfrd me to person #3 (Kellie) who was cheerful when greeting and added Ill be more than happy to finish your registration. So now Kellie asks me for MY date of birth and my SSN. I asked why does she need my personal info? She answered one moment, So Im on hold for a few minutes then person #4 answers (Kelly). person #3 didnt even have the professional demeanor to let me know she was xfring me! Person #4 Kelly immediately comes on the line saying I understand you have a problem with questions being required to answer. Her tone automatically set my tone. I replied why are you upset? If anyone should be upset its me being xfrd to four different people and being given an attitude because Im asking basic questions? her one and only reply (instead of an apology) was Im not upset. After wasting my time with this person who claimed she was also the office mgr, I scheduled the appt and my child was seen. I took advantage of this time and spoke with the Doctor who was attending us and gave her my compliant. I asked for a name of an owner or partner that I could send a letter in regards to the nasty service I had received form the front office staff. To my surprise the DR said she was just an employee and had no idea who I could complain too. With this I understood from her that she didnt want to get involved nor did she care about my concern. Cmon now, how can she NOT know who the owner/partners are? She was hired by them! I then told her that since Im not being given a choice, I would add my voice of complaints and disgust about their lack of service online. So folks, the previous reviews are correct, the front office staff is rude, unprofessional, and they do their best to intimidate you on the phone and in person with their tone and street behavior. Even that fat guy at the check in desk was rude; no hello, no eye contact, which is exactly what I expected when I came in. Please dont believe that their the only ones in town who accept Medicaid. Do your research, you will find others. Owners of this place do not care nor do they have any intentions of replacing these so called employees. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. They will eventually go out of business since nothings changed.

I love Melissa the Nurse Practitioner. I cannot stand the nurse Eric in the back. I have had 2 issues with him and today was the straw that broke the camels back. My daughter was diagnosed with pityriasis rosea on Wednesday. Its a viral rash. Unfortunately, Melissa was booked so I had to see a different provider. Anyway, the rash has continued to spread so I called and asked if I could get a prescription for an antiviral medication. This guy Eric is a prick. He kept telling me there wasnt a medication to cure her rash. Well duh, its viral. The antiviral medication will cut down on the rash spreading. He proceeded to tell me how to treat the rash.....things I already know because I discussed them with the doctor. Then I told him I had done some research online about it and he laughed at me. He said, "oh, youre one of those that gets all of your information from the Internet." So I had to inform Mr. Eric that I am actually a NURSE and if I do research a topic online; Im not reading crap on Wikipedia. I also informed him that I would be filing a formal complaint and that he was to have no contact with me or my daughter. Do not insult my intelligence. Do not assume that I do not know what I am talking about. I called and talked to the office manager and she assured me that Eric would be disciplined. Ill never know if it happens but I do know that if they dont call back, Ill just go to a walk-in clinic. This rash can last up to 8 weeks without treatment. Eric is not explaining my request correctly to the provider or hes not explaining it at all. I miss Dr. Pistoria. When she was there, she would always answer my call, even if I had to hold for her to see a patient. So if you have to call and talk to a nurse.....dont talk to Eric.

They have an employee with an attitude problem. My girlfriend took off work this morning to take her son to the doctor. He is not a new patient. She called at 8:00am to let them know she was running 5 minutes late due to traffic from an accident. Heidi was very nasty to her on the phone, told her she would have to reschedule, and that Well, you should have been on time then when she protested. She asked to speak to the manager and was told the manager wouldnt be there until 9am. I dont have all the details of the conversation, but she called me shortly after and was in tears after her conversation with Heidi. She continued to the place, got there around 8:10 and guess what? The manager was there, talked to her, and checked her in. Heidi later apologized to her, which is why this isnt a 1 star review, but look at other reviews and you can see this is a pattern with Heidi. How many times have you waited an hour in the lobby to see a doctor? I know I have plenty. Doctors are never on time. And she lied about the manager not being there. There is no excuse for the way Heidi spoke to her on the phone -- Heidi may be a great employee but she has no business dealing with customers -- any other job and talking to a customer like that will get you fired. Heidi needs some coaching and training and perhaps a review of her duties to put her in a more appropriate position for her type of personality. She has caused a few bad reviews of this place already.

My family has been a patient in this office since 2006 when my first daughter was born..... That being said, I now have 3 children and it is next to impossible to get an appointment when they are sick. Much worse, when you have an appointment you may wait over an hour to be seen. I have multiple times brought these issues up to the office and doctors and have yet to see a change and I have been waiting over a year while the office explains they are busy and it will get better... at what point I am not sure. I was also informed last time I complained they are the only provider in Winter Haven that accepts Medicaid therefore that alone is an issue for me. I will be moving my children to an office in Lakeland that will be concerned and understanding when my 3 children are sick..... Just plain fed up

I took my baby to this place to get her vaccines and once when she was sick my baby was never seen by a pediatrician and she is just 3 month old. They charge ridicules amount for vaccines and they dont report it acutely to the CDC so is like your baby never had the vaccine , and the charge for some vaccines that are FREE by the gov. The secretaries at the check inn desk are rude and lack professionalism . This place dose not keep good file of the bills you already paid for so Save all of your recipes Thank God I did. They where charging me over and over gain the same amount but I had the recipes and that helped. Overall dont take your kids to this place !!!!
