Our kids have seen Dr. Kahlon for two years. We love their office staff and we love the doctor. We initially used Kidsville Pediatrics because there was a doctor there (Dr. Cruz) that we really liked, even though we found the office portion and other doctors of the practice to be subpar. When Dr. Cruz left, we did, too. Dr. Kahlon is thorough. Once she enters the room and asks the caregiver and child what has motivated the patient to seek care. She then undergoes a physical, nearly every time, ensuring all systems are functioning and unaffected by the complaint. She will talk to the patient during this time, whereas so many doctors ignore children as they examine them. She asks them age-appropriate questions in vernacular they understand, then checks with the whole family to make sure she is understanding things correctly. She is proactive. If she notices something is amiss, instead of requiring you to make an additional appointment to address this, she will do so in the same visit. They are efficient. If she has to send for lab work or imaging, the office will call you and let you know when the results are in; they will let you know whether they need you to come in and discuss results or they will tell you everything is fine. If you have ever been forced to take a day off work and pay $25 to come in for a 30-second appointment, only to be told everything is perfectly fine, you understand how rare and wonderful it is to have an office that will call you and tell you results are just fine! Dr. Kahlon is effective. Our youngest child has allergies, asthma, and eczema. Dr. Kahlon first referred us to an immunologist/allergist at Nemours to help get the allergies pinned down and controlled. That specialist gave us a treatment plan and a plan of action, all of which Dr. Kahlon embraced and has respected. Recently, our daughter caught a cold. Viral respiratory infections are brutal on her, often triggering her asthma. Dr. Kahlon saw her daily until her lung function and oxygen saturations were stellar once again. You wont get a doctor who sees the child daily for a cold very often. In fact, usually you will receive inappropriate treatment just to get you out of their face; a doctor will write a scrip for antibiotics when all you need is chicken soup and rest. That is not only bad for your child, it is bad for society in this era of super-bugs. Dr. Kahlon did not prescribe useless antibiotics in this case, gave us an arsenal of advice to make our daughter comfortable, and then examined her daily, doing spirometry, breathing treatments, got her on the right steroids (temporarily), and adjunct inhalers until she was better. Due to this, our daughter did not have be be admitted to the hospital for respiratory distress and asthma attacks for the first time ever during cold and flu season. Another example is our oldest son, who had some issues in his bloodowrk. Rather than rushing to medicate him, they gave us a comprehensive plan of action, and we will retest him in three months. If he is showing improvement, we will continue with our current action plan. If there is no improvement, only then will we place him on medications. I LOVE THIS about Rainbow Pediatrics! Unless it is something immediately life-threatening or has the child in discomfort, they are always willing to try a common sense, natural method first. They are not blowing anything off; on the contrary, they recognize that medications are a big deal (especially for these little guys!) and dont mind trying to help the body heal itself-again, this is only as long as there is no potential damage or misery for the child, in which case they will take swift action. She even gives kids a lollipop after each appointment, much to their delight. Dr. Kahlon and her office will respect your time and wallet, and the doctor will thoroughly, proactively, efficiently, and effectively treat your child. You cant ask for a better pediatrician. Her nurses and staff are pretty darn awesome, too.

Ive been with Dr Kahlon for 15 years and four beautiful girls later...she is still the best. I even moved 40 mins away and I still take the drive to get the best for my girls. I have been thru a separation and the nurses will always keep me and the father of my kids posted on everything involving our children. By FAR the BEST PEDIATRICIAN Ive ever had for my 3 little girls. The staff is amazing especially the two nurses they have. Dr. Kohlon nows exactly what she is doing and on point every single time and I truly feel she cares for the health of my daughters. Shes very patient and gentle, my girls just adore her! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PEDIATRICIAN.

We took our daughter with asthma this past Monday 3/13/2017 and today is Saturday and i still waiting for the damn prescription to be send to the pharmacy the secretary says that she sent it and havent done it . So I dont know what to do Ive called every day and my daughter doesnt have her medications .

I have two children, my oldest is 12 almost 13. He has been seeing Dr. Kahlon since birth as well as my 9 year old. She is very thorough and very pleasant. She remembers the smallest details about my children, even if she hasnt seen them in a while. I love going there

Waiting room had stained carpet and seats. The walls were chipped. Waited about 45 min in the waiting room. The staff themselves were nice enough, the room we were in had a stained pillow. Not going back.
