I suffer from chronic lower back pain in the L4 and L5 area where I have two discs that tend to press on some nerves. This wasnt my first time at a chiropractors office, since I have been dealing with this issue since I sprained my lower back when I was 14 years old. When I started going to Dr. Russell, I could barely walk because I was in such excruciating pain. Pain that didnt go away no matter what I did, nothing could get rid of the pain and Im not the type of person who wants to make heavy pain killers a part of my everyday life. I had a trip to Arizona coming up in a few months and I didnt want the pain to ruin it. I did a treatment plan with Dr. Russell and it was no easy treatment because I had to be committed 100%. After a month, I didnt see improvement, but that didnt mean it wasnt working. I learned that you have to be patient with chiropractic care and you have to do your exercises. I knew Dr. Russells attentive style and my hard work and dedication had to lead to pain free days. I cant tell you how long it took to feel major improvement (less than a year), but I can say one thing for sure, that trip to Arizona was fantastic. I only had minimal pain and I was able to dance all night at my best friends wedding. Ive been seeing Dr. Russell for over 2 years now. I am currently in the maintenance stage and I havent had any major pain since I completed my treatment. Today, I live a Normal life without Pain the way it should be! Thanks Dr. Russell!

I dont normally write reviews, but I feel like I would not be doing my part for the betterment of the world if I did not write one for Dr. Russell. I came to him broken, with 2 herniated discs, a rotator cuff injury and a variety of post-surgery injuries after a lifetime of abusing my body from sports, drumming, car accidents and whatnot. From the minute I met him, I knew hed be the one. I found him through Groupon, believe it or not, after almost a decade long search to find a replacement for the chiropractor I had for almost as long. I had basically given up hope of ever finding someone who wasnt trying to sell me the latest gadget or miracle vitamin. I feel like I should send Groupon a thank you letter, too. I might. After my initial exam, x-rays and consultation, I received my first adjustment. I dont even care if you make fun of me, but I cried tears of joy because, for the first time in almost 8 months, I felt an immediate relief. I woke up the next day (again for the first time) without a headache. It was instant. Im not saying that will happen to you, but it did for me. Who knows, it could for you, too. If you come across his Groupon, BUY IT. If you dont buy the Groupon, CALL HIM ANYWAY. Dr. Russell is kind, gentle, funny and doesnt care if he spends an extra 15 minutes explaining something you may not understand. I believe hes truly in it to help anyone and everyone he can.

I found Dr. Russel by chance, and I am very glad I did. Since I have gone to him, the pain I had in my knee and ankle has disappeared and that wasnt even why I went in! I wanted to find ways to strengthen and help my injured lower back, to keep from needing surgery and taking pain meds. I had had PT elsewhere previously and was unimpressed. I learned so many helpful techniques from Dr. Russell that I can use to keep me strong, flexible, and free of meds! I also have suffered from debilitating migraines for over 40 years. He has (thank goodness!) helped to significantly reduce the length and severity of the migraine episodes, something I thought impossible. I have never worked with a health care professional that listened as well as he does. I also love that he works from the ground up checking to see if you could benefit from orthotics and making sure they are "absolutely perfect". I was so impressed with my orthotics that I brought my son and daughter in for some too! I highly recommend Russell Health and Wellness!

Ive been to a lot of different chiropractors and I definitely can say that I wont be looking for a new one after coming here. Ive been a patient of Dr. Russells for about 3 months and I love it here. Dr. Russell truly cares about his patients lives and strives to make you better. He has a good regimen set up for me that has given me results that Ive been waiting to see for months and wasnt getting elsewhere. He even cares so much about your life outside of the office. I made a comment about diet changes, and he suggested a good diet plan for me to follow. I talked about how my credit isnt where I want it to be and he brought in some resources and numbers to call to help improve it. He goes out of his way when he doesnt have to. Hes a good chiropractor and an even better person. I couldnt ask for more!

I would highly recommend Dr. Russell for any chiropractic need! I started seeing him over three years ago for some very unusual symptoms. Dr. Russell was quick to listen and patient with me as we discussed possible solutions to the problems that I was having. He cares about his patients and wants nothing more than to see them healthy and thriving. Even though my symptoms have subsided I continue to see Dr. Russell on a regular basis and would encourage anyone and everyone to do the same! I moved my entire house with my husband and felt no back or neck pain. I have dealt with back and neck pain all my life and have felt no pain throughout my entire move! This is directly related to the excellent chiropractic care I have received from Dr. Russel!

11 tears ago when I thought that I was going to need back surgery for my sciatica I looked up a local chiro to try. Found Russell and decided to try him. He explained in simple terms what I needed to work on and lo and behold my back pain subsided. 11 years later, last fall, I had another back pinch. I contacted Brian and he bought me in for a free evaluation. We started on a plan of rehab where he uses flexion distraction to relieve the pressure on my disks, Short story is, I feel great again. I have recommended Brian to friends and they are also happy with the results he has provided. I have only had back issues but I know he treats other issues like TMJ, etc. Sure was a better option than surgery. :-) Thanks Brian.

Dr. Russell is a miracle worker! His personalized chiropractic care plan helped me get back on my feet after a sports injury and Im amazed that I have no continuing back problems or pain. Dr. Russell takes a personalized and unique approach to treating and diagnosing patients that is a breath of fresh air, compared to traditional M.D.s that are quick to dismiss conditions and just write another prescription. Natural Medicine and Russell Chiropractic Care is the way to go and I highly recommend anyone in Villa Park, Elmhurst, Lombard, Oak Brook or the surrounding Western Suburbs to give his clinic a try and see the results for yourself!
