Dr. Kelly Riggs failed to advise me the results of a CT scan. She said she never received it. "Docs for Docs" system of notification proves otherwise. When making a new appt for something else, I asked that they have those results at my appt. They did not. After my appointment, I asked Dr. Kelly Riggs if she would please obtain those results and advise. She said she would. I went to medical records on my own and obtained the report. I showed it to another Dr who expressed concern and said I should follow up with Dr. Riggs that day. I called that afternoon. They still did not have the report or even order it. Then they ordered it, but they did not know that I already had a copy in my hand. Dr. Riggs told her nurse to tell me that there wasnt anything to be concerned with. The ER Dr, who ordered the CT scan, advised me to follow up with the Dr the next day regarding the results. That is when I initially called and was told they didnt have them, but would call for them and call me IF anything was concerning. No call. When I called with the report in hand I asked them what is meant by "close clinical correlation recommended?" Then they realized I had a copy of the report. The ER Dr. said the findings on the CT scan show small vessel ischemia or delyelinating process. MS! It was the ER Drs suggestion back then that I have an MRI. That is why I kept asking about the report. It was the same opinion of the second Dr I recently asked. An MRI should have been immediately scheduled to find out more!! Dr. Riggs??? Nothing! And now?? Dr. Kelly Riggs is being nasty to me and not doing anything regarding the CT scan or the other matter that I made the recent appointment for. Stating, "If I have other Drs reports there is no reason for her to do anything." ???? Caught in a lie, refusing to admit it, refusing to do anything, treating me poorly, and attaching my integrity on my recent visit. Grounds for this post and a letter to the medical board. Period! I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this Dr!
