When I called the receptionist said there was a free consultation and got me in quickly. After talking with Mr. Dinkel for a couple of minutes he said he wanted to do an "exam" and initial "treatment" and that he would charge $70. He took me in another room took my weight and blood pressure and then pressed with his fingers lightly on my spine for about 30 seconds and commented casually that I should have been looked at for Scoliosis in the past.(even though Im healthy, athletic and have only had back pain since being pregnant) He then had me sit on the table for the "treatment" which consisted of me laying back twice while he applied light pressure to my back with his palm and then turn to the side and he pressed down. This took about 2 minutes. After probably seeing my look of confusion at this "treatment" he commented that for 99.9 percent of patients he would have done the whole thing but he wanted me to come back again after seeing how I felt. Tomorrow he said if I came back (and of course paid more money) would finish this so called exam (which would include my lower back and pelvis) and when I returned and paid he additional $50 he would do the real "treatment". Then he said I should come in twice a week after that. This all seemed to me an obvious bait and switch tactic to have me simply pay more money to see what the "real" treatment and full exam would have been. Overall I feel that was the biggest waste of $70 ever and not worth my time at all. I am a totally unsatisfied patient. Dont waste your time or money here in my opinion.

Dr. Dinkel and Macy have been absolutely consistent with genuine concern and professionalism in the practice of healing. Dr. Dinkel understands the importance of patient care from the beginning to the end. After many years of consistent pain, I have begun with Dr. Dinkel and been greatly relieved to have more freedom of movement and even exercise. There is no doubt that the Dr. had a very difficult case with my spine injuries, and within a reasonably short amount of time, he has made a big impact on my recovering from what I thought was a permanent state of being. I have even begun to hope for a life without pain.! I never thought this was possible. In 2008, I was told I needed spinal surgery and to be careful that I could paralyze myself with the wrong movement. I was advised not to work out and that I was in terrible shape. Dr. Dinkel has given me hope and not just a warm environment but results that I am seeing myself transform and it is amazing. Thank you Dr. Dinkel for your "magic hands" and we all appreciate your technique and your warmth that does not cease. You are a real gem nestled right in a convenient location for all; Leawood. I wish I could shout this on the mountain-tops because I know there are so many more out here that you could help and they dont even know it. I hope you know the significance of impact you are making on my life and how much I appreciate it! Thank YOU!

Excellent Doctor to go to. We had been recently involved in a major car accident. Not only has he given us peace of mind, but he has also gone out of his way to help us seek other help "In a completely different state" To help us along the way. He treats you like family and theres nothing better than to work with a professional that not only knows what he is doing, but also treats you like you are one of his own in a time you are grieving and walks you through LITERALLY every part and every step. Glad we were referred to you, Thank You! UPDATE: We have completed our treatment with Dr. Dinkle, and gosh.. What a difference! I was hesitant at first, when he said he would get me up and running again in a few weeks and boy was he right! Throughout the entire process I felt ZERO pain, and every time I left We left feeling like we just got out of church. I feel fantastic! I am back to my normal routine and can move better than what I used to. All the visits and the drives were definitely worth it. In the future it is obvious that when we need a chiropractor who we would go see. Thank You for everything Dr. Dinkle, you were heaven sent!

My 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome after breaking her ankle in a basketball game. She had extreme pain in her foot that spread to her whole leg, then her other leg and even occasionally to her arms. She was in physical therapy from the time of the break, but her pain didnt lessen enough to get her off crutches for five months. We also tried acupuncture, neurofeedback counseling and another chiropractor. Her pain would lessen a bit, but then return. It was a parents nightmare - nothing we tried seemed to relieve her pain completely. About a year after her original injury, we started seeing Dr. Dinkel. He adjusted her back, knee and foot twice a week at first, tapering off to once a month now, and her pain improved dramatically. She is now having no pain and thinking about playing sports again. I recommend Dr. Dinkel highly. Not only is he skilled, he is also a really nice guy who truly cares about his patients and their well-being!

Dr. Dinkel is the first chiropractor that I have ever seen. Before going to him I was real leery of chiropractics. I just assumed they would pop your back and take your money. Dr. Dinkel however was the opposite. Between working in IT and sitting infront of computers all day and the fact I had a bad four-wheeling wreck about 6 years ago and ever since then I could not sleep on my left shoulder due to the aching pain. I was finally convinced to visit Dinkel and he was very thorough and listened to where my pain was at. He took the time out of his busy schedule to consult and discuss our options at no cost to me. After that he took a few x-rays to see how my body sitting and could tell what I was favoring and where to concentrate on adjusting. I have been going to him for about 7 months now and I have almost zero pain in my left shoulder and can sleep on my left side like a baby again. He has helped me more than I could ever repay him. I have been treated by Dr Dinkel for 4 years (since the day he opened). A lot of my family and friends are cared for by him as well, and there is no other chiropractor I would ever refer anyone to. His adjustments are gentle, yet extremely effective. I used to suffer from debilitating migraines, to the point of needing to call in to work. After just a little bit into my treatment plan, I started to feel better! I continue to go to him and he has helped me through my twin pregnancy, post partum, tailbone pain, low back pain, pain from a bad fall, and just general aches and pains. My preemie twins and I all get adjusted once a week, and my kids LOVE going to this office!! Dr Dinkel and his assistant are so welcoming, and beyond caring.
