I love Bardstown Road Animal Clinic! Dr. Bridges is fantastic and so are all the vet techs. I especially like Vanessa, so professional and kind and caring, but they are all wonderful. Dr. Bridges spends a good deal of time with you for just your average checkup and shots appointment, but really impressed with me with my most recent experience. My Great Dane had surgery yesterday and is somewhat of a special case.. He has separation anxiety and everyone at this clinic was so kind, understanding, and accommodating. Due to his "neediness," I was allowed to come in soon after he awoke from surgery and lay with him for 2 hours in back. When I arrived, a vet tech was laying with him- they had never left him alone, just as they had assured me. I was never made to feel in the way and the vet techs, along with Dr. Bridges, constantly checked on me and Forest (my GD), asking if I needed anything several times. Due to my location, I got to see all the "behind the scenes" action, when the owners arent there with their pets. They were so caring and gentle with every animal, kind to each other as coworkers (which says a lot, in my opinion), and overall very professional. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Bridges and his clinic. Ill never go anywhere else!

Dr. Bridges from Bardstown Animal Clinic helped me keep my first cat healthy and he lived for 18 years. My first cat has since passed and I have purchased another cat. Lately, he has been ill with intestinal problems, so took him to a vet closer to my home. the closer vet was very kind to him, however they only treat minor problems and they give referrals to other clinics (a referral would be two bills, one for the closer clinic and one for the clinic with specialization) so i called Bardstown Road Animal Hospital, and they said that i could bring him in an hour later. They accepted my pet within an hour, and they even treated him with a tornado warning covering the area. Bardstown Road Animal Clinic also offers extensive care for pets, so if my cat needed an operation, I could keep him with the same vet. From now on Ill go the extra miles. I would highly recommend this animal clinic.

Dr. Bridges is very thorough, and him and all the staff are very polite and kind. I dont ever feel like Im rushed and I feel like he really cares about my dog. I just adopted my first dog every and he gave me lots of great advice. I never feel ripped off either like I have other places when I used to take my moms dog to vets. I will never go to another vet for my little Cosmo.

Dr. Bridges saw my beloved fur baby Dozer from the time I got him at 8 weeks old to his last breath. I cannot say enough nice things about him and his staff. Its not even been a week since having to put my baby down, and already I have received a sympathy card from them. They are fair priced, caring, and truthful. I will take my pets nowhere else.

Cannot praise this vet enough. Always has time to see my animals, usually same day if not next day. Conveniently open late most nights, does not over diagnose or medicate, explains everything thoroughly, calls back when he says he will. Truly cares about the animals. Pricing is average, but service is great.

Also do not want to leave out the office staff who are always friendly and greet me with a warm smile. Your kind hearts do not go unnoticed.

Dr. Bridges cares about our fur babies. He takes time and looks for the best solutions to tjeir health probems. Jada has bladdr stones, we tbought for sure she needed surgery. Doc tried soecial food and antibotics first. Jadais getting back to her happy playful self. Great job Doc. Thank you.

Dr. Bridges and his staff are excellent!!! We have taken our two dogs there and are never disappointed with the results. They are well priced and you can tell Dr. Bridges truly cares about animals. He even sent my mom a sympathy card whenever her dog passed. Truly wonderful vet!
