Not one to leave a bad review but I feel people should be warned about this dentist. HE IS A CROOK. I had been going to a dentist for awhile but decided to switch because I had moved and his office was a little too far for me. I came in for my first appointment, a cleaning. Keep in mind here I am in my 20s and have never had a single cavity. After my cleaning was done the dentist and one of his assistants informed me I had 17 cavities. SEVENTEEN!!!!!!!!! I was crying my eyes out and shocked. The next day I got a root canal on one of my teeth to fix my "cavity". After telling my parents about my experience my dad demanded I go to my old dentist for a second opinion, I called up my dentist told him what happen and he told me to bring in my x-rays and he would look at them and my mouth free of charge. Guess how many cavities I actually have...ZERO. I was in shock. Oh, and that one "cavity" he fixed always aches now in my mouth and feels rough and sharp, (never had any pain or problems with that tooth before).

I have always been nervous with dentist offices, but then I met Dr. Dave and staff. Everyone at the office is extremely friendly and helpful. I am continually impressed with the depth of knowledge and thoroughness of each hygienist – thanks gals. It is evident each hygienist truly cares about the patient’s well-being, which makes me feel much more comfortable, and quite frankly, right at home. It is hard to find dentists who exhibit such a high quality of care and personal touch like Dr. Dave - the guy puts his actual cell number on his business card. One day, just before Christmas, I had a disabling headache from grinding my teeth at night. Though the office was technically closed, the on-hand staff welcomed me inside and Dr. Dave fixed me right up; they literally saved my Christmas. Thanks again, Dr. Dave and staff, am I consistently impressed by your self-less service and quality of care. I recommend the practice at every opportunity. - Michael D. Fazio

Dr. Watkins is an outstanding dentist --- knowledgeable and compassionate! Plus, his entire team is wonderful! The hygienists are the best in town --- zero discomfort after a thorough cleaning. His office manager Maria is there to be your advocate. My kids and husband have been seeing him since he set up his practice. I myself had been going to the same practice for over 30 years, but I recently needed a new dental home. I was having an issue with a tooth and Maria and the team were flexible with my crazy work schedule and got me in in under a week. Overall, an excellent care experience! I would recommend to all, young or old, without hesitation!

I just moved here a few months ago from Seattle. I thought I had the best dentist there, but after meeting Dr. Watkins and his staff there is NO comparison. Maria gives her cell phone to every patient!! She gave it to me before she even met me when I called to make my first appt. The assistant Emily made me feel like I had known her forever. She explained all my treatment needs and made me feel very confident in the treatment that was recommended. I will definitely be returning and telling my new friends about Dr. Watkins!!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Watkins to anyone. He is one of the best!!! Him and his staff are friendly and caring. I had to get my tooth pulled and they called checked on me and they made me feel right at home. They are very sweet and Dr. Watkins was very patient with me through out the entire process because I was extremely nervous. If I still lived in Louisville he would still be my dentist and now that I am not I want to drive 2 hours to get any dental work done by him!!!! They are the best!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Watkins for over 5 years now. I despised going to the dentist prior to the first day I stepped into his office. To my surprise, he was so gentle and caring. I never met a dentist like him before. Due to him being so gentle, I started bring my younger children in. His staff is just as great as he is. They have always worked with me and my insurance company to make sure I am receiving my full benefits. I would highly recommend Dr. Watkins to everyone.

Before seeing Dr. Watkins and his staff I had always had difficult experiences but coming to his office has made me feel as comfortable as one could be going to a dentist. His staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They also wanted to take a very non aggressive approach to my treatment and explained things where I could understand they now see my mom as well as my brother its worth the travel.

I dont dread going to the dentist since Ive started going to see Dr. Watkins. His staff is great and the office is well run. The dental hygienists are great and there is no pain when they are cleaning my teeth even though I have VERY sensitive gums. Dr. Watkins is also very knowledgeable, personable and above all else...gentle. I really recommend this practice!
