It pains me to write this. I truly love codman square health center and it is a vital part of the community. But I have been straight mis-treated by Amal Abdulkadir NP. Amal Abdulkadir NP is a horrible healthcare provider. Amal Abdulkadir NP has raised her voice at me in several appts. Amal Abdulkadir has failed to send in my prescriptions several times before she left town, which necessitated me to contact the covering provider - which took many days of long phone holds and no medicine. Amal Abdulkadir also does not have the experience or training to be doing what she is doing, as evidenced many many times by her inappropriate and dangerous medical advice. I sought second opinions from appropriate professionals that was much different than Amal Abdulkadirs. I felt so unsafe being treated by Amal Abdulkadir that I brought my father, a trained legal negotiator, to one of our recent appointments. I have had long calls with administrators at the clinic regarding Amal Abdulkadir and my desire to switch to her covering provider. Unfortunately, the covering provider has no room on her panel for new patients. I could go on and on. Dont waste your time with Amal Abdulkadir!! Also, administrators I talked to seemed to have no idea about or connection with the provider. And generally offered little help. This is a dangerous way to operate a community health center. All I want is a dedicated provider who is there full time and has a doctorates degree in the field. Is that too much to ask!? Well according to Amal Abdulkadir my pursuit of a prior auth for a groundbreaking new insomnia medicine which could help me sleep was non of her concern, since I had good insurance unlike most of the ppl at the clinic while had Masshealth and none of them had ever requested this prior auth. She advised me, after months of stalling, that I should seek it elsewhere. Is she freaking serious!?!? This is about helping ALL of the patients, good insurance or not. So what she was basically saying was that she wouldnt have to go through so much work with all the rest of her patients because she would never requested this prior auth for this new medicine. Unbelievable

IT WONT LET ME DO ZERO STARS BUT ANYWHO ... I have been a patient here since i was born and so have my children When i moved i changed clinics but now i am back in the area i switch back to Codman Worst place ever They do not even properly train their staff. My daughter needed a stereopsis done at her physical appointment for school and none of the medical assistants knew what i was even talking about, they had to go on google and google what it was and then refer me to the eye appointment which means i had to make another appointment and my child had to miss school. I am a medical assistant myself and this is just beyond sad, i called to speak to a supervisor and was given attitude and was told that the staff is not required to do stereopsis on children. but that does not exclude the fact that they didnt even know what i was talking about the woman i spoke to then gave me attitude and ask what did i want her to do about it cause their nothing she can do. the wait their is always an hour or more sometimes just to get called back and another 1 for a doctor to see you. I waited an hour and a half a couple months ago just for my son to get 1 SHOT . this past winter i went to urgent care with a swollen foot and was turned away without even being seen, because according to the nurse they do not do x-rays on Saturday and they need to do a x-ray to see what is wrong with it and evaluate me so they can not see me. my man had to drive me all the way to Brigham just for them to tell me it was sprained and wrap my foot without even giving me a damn x-ray, I went in person and filed a complaint then and never even received a follow up call about i t .. i do not get my dental care here because it is absolutely impossible to get an appointment honestly ANY CLINIC IS BETTER THAN THIS ONE i regret switching back yes it closer to my home but i will be transferring back to south Boston clinic ... or just transfer anywhere but here

I didnt have a problem going here until my car accident 11/06/16. I was in a parked vehicle sitting in the passenger seat when someone hit the car from behind pushing the car about 7ft from where it was parked. The air bags deployed and I was a bit dazed for a few minutes. Its been a month now and my back pain has not changed. I was giving a Toradol injection for my back pain that didnt work. My Dr. referred me to PT. Ive been going 3x a week for 2 weeks and the pain has increased. I told my Dr. this and still have not received an x-ray, CT Scan or MRI some type of test to see if anything else could be going on such as a fracture. She keeps telling me with MVA unfortunately you have muscle pain etc. that gets worse before it gets better and PT is to help strengthen those muscles etc. Ok fine, but if you never did any kind of radiology exam how can you tell me thats all it is without confirming/ruling out a fracture, slipped disc, etc.?? she refers me for Acupuncture, but still no radiology exam.Then the kicker is I called on Nov 18th for a nurse call back who didnt call me back until Dec. 1 then got an attitude when I asked her what is the purpose of this call? I just couldnt believe she was really calling me back 2 weeks later...smh I told her I was all set. Then she rudely says, "Good well Im glad someone has taking care of you."..really? I have Blue Cross and think Im going to change my PCP elsewhere. Everyone keeps asking me why do you go there you have Blue Cross you can go anywhere. I tried to stay in the Community and support the clinic, but Im not satisfied nor pleased with the service Im receiving here. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I HATE THIS PLACE. been here for years and i hate myself for continuing to go back each time.. im leaving and taking my kids out of there.. always come early to my appointment and ALWAY WITHOUT FAIL get seen late... so unprofessional! my kid had an appointment booked months in advance. they called me to confirm the appointment two days prior, so i showed up, they didnt find my kid in the system and told me the doctor decided to take a little vacation. they said they called me however the only call i got and message i received was to make sure i was coming in smh.. so terrible! i already hate going there so i had to find another doctor to take me first thing the next few days. i call no one picks up sometimes like they dont have enough receptionist. one time i was on hold and someone took me off hold i guess by accident because i heard a laugh in the background and then i was put back on hold.. im so livid.. i dont get how they are still running.. something has GOT to give!!!!!

Do I have to even give this place a single star? You will notice that every single review for this place is bad - mine is no different. What an awful experience. I have never communicated with more apathetic people in my life...the customer service is non existent. There is no follow up. Dont promise me a call and then fail to follow up with it - how the heck do you think that makes me feel? This place treats you like a meaningless number. It makes me so much angry that it is difficult for me to even type this without getting somewhat frazzled. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Someone needs to step in there and clean house because this place is an abomination on the health services industry. I cant define a word strong enough to express my resentment toward this place. It is an embarrassment. Shame on your patient call center especially.
