I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1. I would make it 0 if it let me. I brought a healthy beautiful puppy to get a spay and she has been sick ever since so much so she has needed some form of hydration twice since the surgery. They kept her all day today because she was so sick and so in so much pain in the surgery area. Since the spay it has been hand over fist giving them large amounts of money with no concrete reason as to what is wrong with her. A co worker of the vet on duty suggested maybe a UTI, I was told to test for it would bring me closer to the last estimate was in the 700s. That was funny to test for a UTI I didnt ask for fancy or multiple tests was almost 200! around a hundred plus more than the estimate she referred to. Here is the best, 880 gives you no answers, not a reading on an x-ray we really didnt think she needed, not an answer to if she has a UTI, but they would like us to bring her back tomorrow for another 55 vet fee and who knows what else. They sent her home with an antibiotic no pain medication which she needs no medication for anxiety to keep her quiet to rest but none of that either. I decided to speak with a vet in Mass and look up average costs and the result was they are very over priced. I would suggest you stay away from this animal hospital, it is all for the money. One of the office managers was nice but the night time one was all about the money as well. No ability to rectify anything, but she didnt want to either. There iis a nice female Vet there she isnt the young one but I would not take a chance with a loved animal again. praying my sweet Rory recovers from the damage they did to her. You can see my pre surgery they want a new patient review and the reviews now something went wrong. They even did tests with out asking me. I would not have wanted chest x-Rays she didnt need the additional radiation and there were no symptoms there! Beware, they are not what they appear! very thorough exams. no rush to get you out and no question to stupid. Appointment times were great and they worked their sched ule to help,as much as possible. They found immunizations that were missed by another vet. we are very happy from entering till leaving. We would recommend then to anyone.

Our dogs have been under the care of Norwell Veterinary Hospital for nearly 25 years. Personable and customer-focused care is #1 at the practice. They know me and my dog by name. We switched to Norwell Vet years ago because our beloved Homer (age 17) did not receive the compassionate senior care he required from another provider. We could not have made a better decision! Our gigantic puppy Maggie was under Norwells care for all of her life. Maggie was a healthy pet who primarily saw the vet for her annual wellness visits. Sadly, she developed lung cancer at age 9. The peaceful and tender way they supported both Maggie (and me) when she needed to be euthanized was remarkable. I will always be thankful for their kindness and support during that difficult time and I continue to be touched by the solicitude of every professional, para and office staff member when I visit. We now have a wonderful lab mix Koko, who has been a part of our lives for 14 years. Weve never owned a dog that encountered so many serious medical interventions throughout her life. She occasionally eats scary stuff, injures herself playing too hard, experiences colitis and other infections -- each of which send us off to the Vet with a moments notice. With each occurrence we have received immediate and thorough care and been confident in the approaches recommended by Norwells Veterinarians. With Koko, we now have the blessing of a senior dog in our lives -- she takes a lot of daily therapeutics that keep her bright, energetic and comfortable. It is expensive to own a dog who has experienced health issues and requires ongoing care, but we have never felt the recommended approach was not a requirement for Koko to be healthy or survive a disease/trauma. And I know my Norwell Veterinarian provides top care without always turning to the highest priced medicines. Finally, just one more plaudit. This is a practice group that stays on top of the latest protocols, homeopathic alternatives, and emerging diseases. I would highly recommend Norwell Veterinary Hospital to any pet owner. They are simply the best.

I first discovered Dr. Kelleher at Norwell Veterinary years ago....I had an older dog, Annie, who was misdiagnosed at another hospital. Dr. Kelleher found out what was wrong with our dog and treated her accordingly. I was so pleased with the care at Norwell not just with the doctor but all the technicians there. From the moment you enter the hospital with your pet, you are treated so warmly and professionally. After our Annie passed, we adopted another older dog who had her share of medical issues. Sally was treated by both Dr. Kelleher and Dr. Bock who were both fabulous. Because Sally was diabetic, we visited the hospital more often to control her sugar levels. I cant say enough about Dr. Bock and all the technicians who would take care of Sally. I always received follow up calls on Sally, reminders when her vaccinations would be due, and I always felt my calls and concerns were addressed quickly. I would never even consider another animal hospital other that Norwell.

I love my Dr at Norwell Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Sullivan is the most caring and thoughtful vet I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She takes excellent care of my 2 dogs and realizes how important they are in my life. The staff is very efficient in keeping me informed with regards to what I need to do to keep my girls healthy and happy. I have heard they are more expensive than other places, but there is nothing they would ever do that I would not approve of. They are very cognizant of the high cost of animal care and offer discounts for their older Dog Parents, etc.! They are supporters of Fairy Dog Parents and work closely with other rescue organizations as well.

Ive been bringing my furry "children" to Norwell Veterinary Hospital for almost 15 years. The staff and doctors are amazing. They are knowledgeable and compassionate. I almost never remember all my questions during appointments and end up calling back, sometimes several times. They always respond quickly and patiently. Dr. Maria Sullivan is amazing. She was my unfailing support while my little dog fought for her life against cancer. More recently, she devoted hours of her own time off the clock researching ways to help my cat with anxiety. Dr. Kelleher also worked on this issue with me, calling me for updates and to offer ideas. Its a great team. They truly care.

A year ago, I became an unexpected pet owner. As such, my questions were insurmountable. If it wasnt for the care and consideration of Norwell Vet Hospital, Id be lost! Dr. KC is available to answer any and all of my questions - regardless of how ridiculous they may seem. The office staff is always friendly, my visits are timely and prompt and the whole office is great about follow-up calls, emails and regular check-ins. They make me feel like Bailey and his care are truly important to them. Ive recommended friends come to this office and one in particular drives from Southie because shes so pleased. I couldnt speak higher of this office!
