Dr. Nazemetz is an amazing vet. I had my new puppy for only a week, our first dog, only 10 weeks old and a few days after getting the pup, he became ill and wouldnt eat anything we gave him, believe me I tried everything for a few days but realized I needed to get him to the vet asap, that it wasnt just an appetite issue. The Dr. squeezed me in to be seen and I was told the puppy had parvo virus and he was so bad that he wouldnt make it. The Dr. was more than compassionate, he felt like a friend and he had made my very difficult time a little less stressful by telling me it was nothing we did wrong and he took the time to explain things to me and even gave me a hug at the end, knowing I had to go home to my two girls who are 7 and 10 years old and tell them that their new puppy had went to heaven. Thank you Village Vet that was an extremely difficult and emotional day for my whole family but you put my family first and I will never forget that or our wonderful pup we had for such a short time. -Samantha Folger

Dr. Nazemetz is amazing--a truly great vet. He is a rarity among vets: a doctor who uses common sense first and then a multitude of years of experience and then his wealth of knowledge of veterinary practice. He has saved both of my dogs lives, giving me more years with them than I ever thought I would have. Both are healthy and happy and bouncy, even if they are special needs cases and 12 years old. I cant recommend Village Vet and Dr. Nazemetz highly enough! Everyone I know takes their animals to him. Id be really happy if he would take on my horses, but I cant seem to convince him that treating large animals might be fun. Especially in his office on Front Street in Rollinsford.

My family and myself have always gone here. Dr. Mike is terrific and was very helpful when my cat broke his foot. When my cat passed away, they sent me a card with a picture that looked exactly like my kitty, with a very sweet quote and they all signed it. I will always recommend this vet
