I had been a patient of Dr. Michelle Herman for a number of years, and when I became pregnant, I got to know all of the doctors on staff, because you never know whos going to be on-call when you deliver. From the front desk, to billing, to the doctors and nurses, they all did an excellent job! I have always been happy with Dr. Herman as my doctor -- she is a very good listener, empathetic, and takes her time during your visit. I had some complications around 20 weeks gestation, and Dr. Voutsos did not hesitate to put me in-patient, and set me up with an excellent cardiologist (Michigan Heart Institute and Beaumont). This practice does not play around, if there might be a problem. I appreciated that a lot. He was also on-call when I went into labor! He was calm, cool, and collected, as I was losing my mind. :) Anyways, I think he really listened to my birth plan, while keeping our health the top priority. He was clearly in charge in the delivery room, and it put me at ease. A quick labor, and successful delivery. I have heard that OBs (in general), are quick to give you a C-section, but I didnt feel that Dr. Voutsos was going to put me under the knife, just to save himself some time. All of the decisions during my pregnancy, labor and delivery were made with our health as the top priority. My son had breathing problems when he was born, but he was in really good hands at Providence Southfield. The nursing staff there was top-notch. However, the facilities there are run-down, and it was not a comfortable place for recovery. My son is two years old now, and doing great. We have since moved out of state, but I would 100% recommend Womens Health Consultants.

My wife and I lost our first child due to a genetic incompatibility that devastated us. It was an unplanned pregnancy, but a welcomed one and needless to say we needed a little special attention. Our initial visit to Womans Health Consultants was to seek a second opinion with regard to our ailing unborn child. Although there was nothing that could be done to save the child, we are infinitely grateful for the time and consideration that was given to us during such a difficult time. But this is not the end of the story. Three months after losing our first child my wife became pregnant again. Remembering the great care we received from Dr. Voutsos at Womens Health Consultants, we returned despite the fact that we had to drive 90 minutes round trip for each visit, after moving closer to family. The second time around, my wife and I were nervous, but optimistic about the pregnancy. As we went through the 9 months of care, we became close with nearly the entire staff and was again exceedingly satisfied with the attention we were given by all the doctors and staff in the practice. As of July 17th, 2009, I am pleased to write that, I am the proud father of a healthy little boy. My wife and I cannot put into words how thankful we are to have had friends to help though one of the most difficult moments in our lives and to also stand with us as we bring into the world the most beautiful miracle we have ever seen. Thanks again Dr. Voutsos, Dr. Kaplan, and the entire medical staff at Womens Health Consultants for being the best Obstetric clinic a couple could ever ask for!

I have had nothing but excellent experiences at this office! I started seeing Dr. Herman a few years back and she has been awesome and extremely helpful! Recently I wanted a consultation for something different and since Dr. Herman was not available when I was, I saw Dr. Thompson the last two times... She is just as exceptional! She is willing to spend time with you in the room to go over options and ask several times to make sure all my questions were covered. I am pleased with BOTH of the doctors I have seen in this office! Its more on the rare side to find knowledgeable doctors that actually spend time with you and care for your concerns! I never feel rushed any time I have visited this office. As far as the front office staff, when I had called a few times and went recently was there in person, Adriana was exceptionally nice and helpful as well! She spent time with me on the phone to help me figure things out without putting me on hold. I work in the customer service industry so I LOVE when I receive excellent customer service as well! I would rate this office more than 5 stars if it were available!

I really liked Dr.Voutsos, and if you didnt have to rotate through all the OBs then I would have stayed here. I saw Dr.Thompson for a follow-up hoping to see a positive ultrasound. She made us wait 50 min, blamed it on her patients, asked me if I could feel the baby moving... Im only 7 weeks. She tries to do an ultrasound for 3 minutes, gets upset because the embryo is too close to the wall, gets irritated because Voutsos said we could come back a week later, then tells me I am likely to miscarry, and even talks to us about a D&C for 10 minutes. She follows up with me 5 days later about my hcg/progesterone results, says theyre good. I log onto my patient portal and notice she -read them to me backwards.- When I called her back, she told the message service to call me back and tell me she never received my results and she didnt have my chart anyway. I had spoken to her an hour prior. I ended up in the ER and they gave me the answers I needed. I am switching OBs. Dr.Thompson made the happiest time in my life a week of hell and I will never go back to this office for ANYTHING.

I wish there were more stars because this office is worth it! I was referred to this practice by a very close friend. Her Dr. was Dr. Michelle Herman. I have to admit I dislike going to the gyno....but I LOVE Dr. Herman. My first visit was 2009. I had a 18 month old son and was looking to get pregnant again. I was have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome. Dr. Herman sat down with me on my first visit and talked to me. Informed me of her back round, her family and in turn I gave her mine. We became immediate friends. Then my dreaded exam came, but it was as fine as can be expected...She then helped me start the regiment to get pregnant and I was shortly after pregnany and gave birth in 2012 to a handsome baby if I do say so myself. I now look forward to seeing the rest of the office and Dr. Herman every year. I can say I refer people and generally care about her. She is amazing!!!!

In May 2008 I was in shock to learn my husband and I were having our first baby. Not even considering that possibility at that time in my life, I was nervous scared and everything else that goes with it. From Chelsey at the front desk, the nurses, to Dr Herman Dr Kaplan and Dr Voutsos, they are all fantastic and made me feel very comfortable. They showed personal interest. I am blessed to have 2 healthy sons now. The deliveries went off without a hitch, partly due to their expertise and patience. The first child I had an epidural and the 2nd I chose not to but they were supportive of both. Ive never been a fan of doctors but during my pregancys they not only were doctors to me, but my friends. I am forever greatful:)
