Review of Dr. Tordoya and his practice --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As an avid consumer of dentistry services, in all of my past experiences, I do not remember the last time I felt as comfortable in a dentist’s chair and office as I did with Dr. Tordoya at Atlantic Family Dentistry in Belleville. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Although I was unsure how my problem could be solved and I was somewhat nervous, Dr. Tordoya’s uniquely calm style reassured me how we can approach this dilemma. After obtaining the dental results, Dr. Tordoya explained in great detail to me how I would need to look at this problem in the short-term as well as in the long-term, while describing the best possible options to resolve my problem and ultimately for me to have the final choice in the matter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It means so much to me to be able to have a great level of trust and understanding from my dentist and know that I have the crucial information for making the best choices for my dental health. As soon as I walked through the door, I loved it!! It is very very clean! Which is a big plus! The staff is amazing. The one time I went there was no parking so I had to park by a meter & I was worried about going over the time and they offered to check my meter and put a quarter in it if needed. I also have two children and another time I went for a filling they told me not to worry & offered to keep an eye on them as I got my procedure done. I have always hated going to the dentist due to bad experiences and dentists being to rough and trying to rush through my procedures, but Dr. Tordoya is the best! He is careful with my teeth and he knows what he is doing! I have referred two people already to him!! Not exaggerating when I say they are awesome, and would give them 10 stars if I could!!!!!

If you are scared of dentists, if you are scared that it will be painful then look no further. You must go see Dr Tordoya. His staff is friendly and informative. His office has the latest equipment and is very clean. Most importantly he will put you at ease. He is professional, genuinely concerned about your dental health, he takes his time and explains everything thoroughly. Most importantly you will not feel ANY pain. He taught me that Ive been flossing and brushing my teeth all wrong for 35 years!! I see such a huge difference after having seen him. I got a groupon for an exam, a cleaning and xrays. I saw Dr. Tordoya. He was very nice. I have been going to another dentist one town over and was not seeing any relief for my gum and tooth pain and have been to them three times in the last year. Dr. Tordoya explained what was going on with my teeth. He also did the cleaning and I felt relief right away. He gave me an oral rinse, an option the other dentist did not give me at all. The office is also very clean. I felt the groupon was worth every penny. My mouth and teeth feel great. I normally dread going to the dentist but this service was excellent. I have a few small cavities and will be going back.

I have looked around the Nutley area and first came across Dr. Acuna and Dr. Tordoya’s information through a friend of mine. After continuing research and checking out some additional reviews, I finally went on to schedule some cleanings at their practice. I was greeted by a friendly team, who were pleasant and comfortable to interact with all day. The doctors were fantastic professionals and did their job well, my teeth are definitely in the hands of a trusted, experienced dentist. I definitely want to refer them to my friends and associates.

Office is very clean, and the staff is polite and friendly, which is not something common in dental/medical office. Appointment times are accurate and wait times are short. Dr. Tordoya is very professional, and extremely attentive to detail. His work is good quality, and I have had three previous dentists, all with very bad experiences. I have and will continue to recommend family and friends to go to Atlantic Family Dentistry to see Dr. Tordoya.

To be honest Im not the biggest fan of dentist, I went last year around this time I was freaking out and the stuff calm me down he did his job and I was out with in 10 minutes. It was the greatest experience ever. mind you ..I went for a wisdom teeth to be removed live an hour away but I dont care how long I have to drive if I know they goanna do a good job and most important of all Im calm and relax.

I have been a patient of Atlantic Family Dentistry for quite sometime. Dr. Pablo Acuña is phenomenal at determining what are your needs and he is very diligent at making sure your gums and teeth are in good health. All the staff are really friendly including the girls at the front desk, the X-ray specialist and dental hygienist. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely Amazing!!! I have never been to a dentist as gentile and sincere as Dr. Tordoya. I actually fell asleep as he was doing my cavities! He made sure I was comfortable and felt NO PAIN as he did what he had to do. His staff was very nice and I already referred to him to EVERYBODY I know. I wish I can give him 10 stars!
