have I met a more knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and truly caring individual in Dr. Lagana. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for his help. I first became a patient in November 2009- I have had multiple spinal fusions and have been in extreme pain for 2 years-Dr. Lagana not only diagnosed my problem(s) but ultimately gave me HOPE for the future. He has worked extensively with me to address my complex issues with the thoracic region and has offered to work with me in the future ,even mentioning a payment plan. Although my problem still persists, I will remain a lifelong dedicated patient and believe that Dr. Lagana will always be there for me...I also know that he will never give up on me -I feel so comfortable wih him and have laughed at his wit and great sense of humor as well. He has done more than make me feel "physically" better- he has touched my heart and soul, too. I also want to commend his staff- they are such wonderful and warm people and treat everyone with dignity and respect- God bless them. In conclusion, may I say that I have never met such a fantastic doctor and human being as I did the day I walked into Backsmart Wellness Center. Please keep up the great work. My name is Flor Villarreal and I live in Perth Amboy, NJ. In January 29th, 2013 I had a shoulder surgery due to a car accident that happened on May 20, 2010. After the surgery, I started my therapy in Backsmart Wellness Center three day later. I thought that it was going to be extremely hard but the therapists are wonderful. They work according to your ability and what you feel comfortable. I am so amazed that after just a week I was able to shower my self and do things on my own. Thanks to the wonderful therapy that they perform to my shoulder I am able to move my arm much more. Ever since I started my therapy I feel so much better. At the beginning, I was so scared of going to therapy because I thought they were going to hurt me even more or make me go through so much pain. I feel so comfortable going to Backsmart Wellness Center because everyone there are so nice and sweet. They listen to your concerns and your problems. They also do their best to help you regarding scheduling. In other words, I love this place so much I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone who needs any kind of therapy because they dont only specialize in therapy but also in nutrition and much more. Thank you Backsmart Wellness Center for all the things you do for me and my health. : )

I have been going to Backsmart Wellness Center for 2 months now, for treatment of neck pain that got increasingly worse over the prior year. Slowly but surely the condition is improving, and I have learned exercises and skills to prevent the problem from coming back. My experience at Backsmart Wellness Center has been completely positive. The 2 chiropractors (Drs. Lagana and Farber) are both excellent - very knowledgeable and skilled, and willing to take the time to explain why they are doing what they do. The physical therapist (Carolyn) is also outstanding. She is very helpful on-site, and teaches exercises for use at home, depending on amount of pain present, and stage of treatment. There is also a massage therapist (Rena) associated with the practice. I have only had one massage, but it was so helpful I hope to have another one soon. Finally, the staff involved in coordinating billing and appointments (Donna and Michelle) are very friendly and both have a great sense of humor, helping to create a very warm waiting room, and exiting, experience. I am very happy with my treatment and overall experience at BWC, and rate it a 10 out of 10.

After suffering from Costochondritis and trigger points in my chest for over a year and seeking numerous medical treatments with no benefit, I decided to look into the Backsmart Wellness Center at the recommendation of a friend. Throughout the course of my condition I have had to give up all physical activity and my quality of life was significantly reduced. Ive always been skeptical of chiropractic work because the adjustments were something that intimidated me, but after trying every other form of treatment I was out of options. I am ecstatic to say that after just one visit I was significantly relieved of my pain and for the first time in over a year I feel that I am on track to making a full recovery! The wellness center uses a thorough approach to your condition and incorporates numerous treatment methods that include chiropractics, massage therapy, muscular stimulation, physical therapy and more. The staff is very professional and friendly and make you feel right at home. The only thing I regret is not seeking out chiropractic treatment for my condition sooner. I highly recommend chiropractic work and the Backsmart Wellness Center!

Backsmart hands down is the BEST place that you can go to for your Chiropratic needs. When I started going there my back and neck was hurting so bad from a car accident I had back in November 2016 and Im still healing. Its only been a few weeks and I feel amazing. Like finally my new issues Im dealing with from the accident are improving so wonderfully. Rinna the massage therapist is absolutely THE BEST masseuse I have ever had and I have had many massages in my day. Her 15 min deep tissue massage is better than 60 min massages I have paid a lot of money for in spas. Her hands are so healing she is phenomenal. Dr. Lagana and Dr.Orlando are by far the best in town!!! They are outstanding doctors who care about their patients. Genuine and compassionate which is rare to come across these days. Did I mention their adjustments always make me feel better? I cant say enough good things about Team Backsmart. What I love most is that all the various services I need or any patient are all under one roof. Do yourself a favor and try Team Backsmart and when they ask how did you hear about us?Make sure you tell them that JERSEY GIRL lol

I was in constant pain (not always terrible, but constant) since Ive been 19 years old. Parts of me felt like they were going to explode. I put off going to see anyone for years because I just didnt trust doctors. A few months ago, our workplace held a health fair. On a lark, I went down and spoke to someone thinking - besides the pain I was normally in, I may have carpal tunnel in my wrist. They told me that they didnt think so but I should speak to the people at the next table. That was Dr. Lagana and the staff from Backsmart. It turned out to be the best day of my life. They examined me there and I set up an appointment to go to their office. Within two weeks - Im telling you - two weeks - I felt better than I have for thirty-four years. The people who work there are kind, courteous and genuinely care for the people who come in. I cannot stress how knowledgeable and wonderful these people are! Oh - my wrist doesnt hurt anymore, either! On this screen, you can give these people a 5 star rating with five being the best. If I could, Id give them 100 stars!
