I tried to make a first exam appointment as a new patient. First question the receptionist asked me was what type of insurance I had. Then, she informed me they do not participate with all plans, but will find out the eligibility. Then, she puts me on hold saying someone will take my information to set up an appointment. I was placed on hold for more than 15 min listening to their message-on hold again and again. Finally, I hung up the phone with frustration. First phone call supposed to be a window to any practice, but I was treated as some kind of commodity instead of customer. No greeting from receptionist. Instead of asking my name, I am just one of insurance plan to the receptionist. As a customer who is willing to pay out of pocket, I am more interested in customer service and quality of care rather than my eligibility. As a dentist owning my own practice, I will take this phone conversation to my five front desks to show them as bad example on how to take a new patient calls.

Ive been coming to Resident Eye Care for over 5 years now and I have no complaints. They are a great team and work with you to find the lenses and persciption you need. They give each of their clients the attention they need and never rush anyone to make a quick decision. Also, they are open on Saturdays!

Lovely staff, very professional, and a great experience. Closed early at 4 when trying to pick up frames when posted close time is 5 was very odd. Glad I called ahead otherwise I would have found an empty building. Not too happy that I spent $600 on two new frames...
