Pinched Nerve in Neck I developed a pinched nerve in my neck which caused a great deal of pain in my right shoulder, chest, shoulder blade, and entire right arm. I knew I needed to treat the problem and not the symptoms so I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Charles Carabasi at his office in Marlton, NJ. Dr. Carabasi was very thorough in his examination of me by taking X-Rays and explaining how I had become out of alignment and what was needed to correct the condition to become pain-free and return to good health. It was relieving to hear that Dr. Carabasi had successfully treated other patients with conditions similar to mine. If you have never been treated by a Chiropractor, it feels like a relaxing massage. Under Dr. Carabasi’s treatment, the pain in my neck and right arm is steadily diminishing. To those of you who have pain or are living with chronic pain and can relate to the suffering and reduced mobility it causes, schedule an appointment with Dr. Carabasi and let him show you just how effective chiropractic treatment can be. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinched Nerve in Neck – (continued) Pain Management and Relief My pinched nerve (nerve impingement/subluxation) was causing me so much pain, it reduced my ability to do physical labor, interfered with my concentration at work and prevented me from getting a proper night’s sleep. When I was first diagnosed with a “pinched nerve” in my neck, I was prescribed muscle relaxers. While these pills reduced the pain and allowed me to get some sleep, I quickly developed a tolerance to them and they lost their effectiveness. I also noticed a steady loss of muscle tone. Before my condition developed, I was in good shape. I exercised on a regular basis, practiced good nutrition and allowed for proper sleep every night. I realized that muscle relaxers were really for short term use only and I needed to find a better way to manage and relieve the pain I was in. It was then, in Dr. Carabasi’s office, that I came across an informational pamphlet on a pain relief procedure called K-Laser Therapy. This pain relief treatment was drug free, surgery free and pain free. I had to try it. I completed 11 therapy sessions and my pain levels diminished substantially. I could feel relief from my pain with each therapy session. Since then, my pain has continued to diminish and I am making steady progress toward recovery. The therapy sessions were relaxing and pleasant. The K-Laser looks like a small flashlight that is gently rubbed over the areas that are in pain. It is warm to the touch and heals the injured area by gently increasing your circulation, thus drawing water, oxygen and nutrients to the affected area. If you are in pain and want relief, you need to try a series of these treatments.

He changed my life! I was diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis back in January 2005. I was told then that one day I would need spinal fusion but while my good days outnumbered the bad, just wait. So wait I did. I would hurt myself 3-4 times a year and then go to physical therapy. When that got too expensive, I had learned the 48 hour ice followed by then moist heat until I felt better. That was fine but I got older and this wasnt working anymore, I sought out surgeons. Fortunately a friend told me of her experience with Dr. Carabasi and asked me to just give him a try. I didnt believe in chiro after an odd experience with a local doctor who had me up on a table after a short five minute consultation. I had sworn off the practice as run by crackpots, but entertained my friends request. Dr. Carabasi evaluated me, told me what he thought was wrong, and then told me he wanted to take x-rays. X-RAYS??!! What kind of "crackpot" uses x-rays? He told me he wasnt going to work on me until he could see and verify his initial diagnosis. A couple days later he showed me evidence of what he found by going over me on my initial evaluation. Sure, I had Spondylolisthesis but that was not what was causing my pain. My spine through the center of my back was curved one one and then in my neck the opposite to compensate. I was sold! Today, three years later I have not hurt myself since. I am able to do fun things again and not feel like a senior citizen! I can bowl (not well), I can golf (not well), I can carry a bag of cat litter from the car! I am so glad I took my friends advice and met with "Chaz," -- not all chiropractors are the same. Dr. C is the real deal. Thanks doc!

Three years ago I started to experience a slight ache in my neck which progressively led to my back. I was 37 and was sure that it would dissolve on its own. At some point it was so uncomfortable that I started to seek professional help starting at my primary doctor whom referred me to Rothman institute. The doctor suggested I have surgery as corrective action. This frightend me and wanted to try other outlets first before I succumbed to surgery. At the time , my perspective on chiropractic care was "hokus pokus", but with limited options, I spoke to a friend who referred me to Carabasi Chiropractic. After my initial consultation, Dr. Chaz was so confident that he could relieve my pain, I , not so much but was willing to try. After about 3 months , I saw a major improvement. I continued to see him on a regular schedule that he suggested, slowly weening to 1/month with no pain at all. Every 6-7 months, it seems I relapse but to no fault other than my own as I dont see him until I start to stiffen up.....and with a few adjustments , I am back to normal. Although I dont suggest waiting until your in pain, Im grateful that he is there for me. My opinion of chiropractic care has completely been reversed. I am so grateful of the relief that I received from Chaz. He takes a great interest in you as an individual hoping to keep you informed of healthy habits. His office staff is courteous and very accommodating as my schedule is constantly changing. I cant say enough great things about this piece of heaven. I have recently moved out of the area but still insist on traveling 1 hour away to see him when necessary.

I travel to Marlton, NJ every week for work and somehow hurt my neck which caused excruciating pain. Because the pain was severe and I was 3 hours away from home, I searched the internet to find a local chiropractor. I have a high tolerance for pain, but I couldnt even turn my head and the pain was unbearable. My search found many chiropractors, but I chose Dr. Carabasi and gave the office a call. From the beginning telephone consultation, Dr. Carabasi and his entire staff were incredibly helpful, professional, informative and caring. I was seen right away, given a thorough examination/diagnosis, and began treatment immediately with all the latest/greatest treatments. Dr. Carabasi is extremely warm, compassionate, professional, punctual and you feel like he really cares about your well being. Immediately my 11+ (out of a 1-10!) pain level started subsiding. I received a personal call from Dr. Carabasi that night after my first treatment to see how I was doing. After a couple visits, I had full range of motion and my pain level decreased dramatically. It has taken a couple months, but I am 100% better and I do and would recommend Dr. Carabasi to everyone. In addition to being satisfied with Dr. Carabasis services, I would like to compliment every single staff member that works for him. They are extremely warm, caring professional and efficient.
