One of the worst businesses EVER! My sister and I used them about 3 yrs ago and had a bad experience! 1st the lady (the optician MARLENE) tried to over charge my sister for glasses & increase her copays also saying she needed things that she didnt which I called her out on (Ive worked for an optical place towns away for years & deal with the same insurances). Once I called her out she tried to stick to her fees until she realized I knew my stuff & then tried to pretend as if it was in error. After that I decided not to purchase from them! I called for my prescription & what do u know I was given the run around & had to call and make a legal threat.. SURPRISE MY PRESCRIPTION WAS MAGICALLY MAILED TO ME! We havent dealt with them since! My mom decided to give them a try & what do you know? THE SAME B*TCH MARLENE OVER CHARGED HER TOO! After speaking with her she began raising her voice & talking over becoming hostile & defensive! There would be no reason to be that way if you did nothing wrong right? Old woman with no manners & poor customer service! I suggest you stay away and if youve been already call your insurance and know your stuff! WORST PLACE EVER WITH A GRANNY FOR A THIEF!

Got glasses made here in January and who knew getting glasses tightened was that much of a big deal? Ive been given the run around because apparently only one person there is trained to do the job of tightening glasses (a job that at my old eye doctor, anyone could do, even the receptionist). I called and visited 3 times in hopes the lady whose job is to tighten glasses would be there, but i guess she never works. Never coming back here again. Youd think for paying $300 for glasses, someone would be available to tighten the glasses when the office is open. UPDATE: upon reading the response from the owner, I realized how nasty he is and maybe he should work on his customer service skills. And FYI the other doctor wasnt a grocery store or in a mall so you sound very ignorant, and nor are their employees high school or college kids. They were also a private practice but that is besides the point. Just clarifying since you want to be ignorant in your response as a business owner.

Great family practice! My family and I have been patients of Dr Doolen for many years. During my most recent visit the staff was more than welcoming, explained charges and insurance options and answered my questions happily. I also had a change in my insurance and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The optician Marlene is a sweetheart, fun, transparent and takes the time to explain all of the costs/details. Dr Doolen is a professional and addressed my eye care needs quickly and efficiently. The front desk associate Tasha was also lovely and helpful.
