I started going here (as my Primary) around 2012. I never had an issue with Dr. Van Houten-Sauter or Dr. Lowry or staff. I left my previous primary doctor b/c I was only a number to them: they had way too many patients, could never get someone on the phone, and never same day appointments for emergencies, my doctor was always changing/leaving the practice...and worst of all, no one called me to tell me about my abnormal test results!!!!! With that said, Pine Street Family Practice is just the opposite. I needed a smaller (family style) practice, but with better service. I believe I found that at Pine Street! Dr. Van Houten-Sauter has an old school method (like her father who started the practice before her), with a new age twist! Shes attentive to my needs and anal - 2 qualities that I like for my Doctors to have!!

The only reason Im not giving Pine Street one star is because before my accident everyone was very nice and I didnt have any problems. But after a car accident both doctors REFUSED to see anyone in my family that was involved. It made getting prescriptions filled, notes for work and seeing specialists so difficult. As if being in a car accident wasnt scary and painful enough, our own doctors have turned their backs on us. I still need blood work done but I will be seeking another primary physician for my needs.

Dr Lowry is great, the office seems well run and the staff average, and I have gotten a same-day appointment when I needed it (not with Dr Lowry, but that was fine with me).

Service here has gotten so bad over the last 5 years. Now I know why my now wife left them after going there since she was a kid up until last year because of it.
