Hi, My name is Andrew, I never really thought that going to a chiropractor would help me with the annoying and painful trouble I was having. In the month of June I hurt my back real bad re-injuring an old problem from a previous accident several years ago. I had a problem with chronic back pain and a sudden swelling of pressure in my lower chest area that was only relieved by loud burping, yes burping. The pain would come in waves and radiate from the middle of my shoulder blades around to my chest causing pain and gas. This got so bad that I had to call out of work a couple times because it had started interfering with my job performance. Not knowing where to go I did an internet search and found a suggestion to see a chiropractor. Well I didn’t think this would help but at this point I had to try something. The back muscles are the ones protecting the nerves coming from the spinal column to the stomach and other organs controlling digestive functions, when I would agitate this swollen muscle it would in turn agitate the nerves causing the sudden gas build up. Well I went to go see Dr. Baldy at his offices and explained my situation to him, he looked a little wary at first but when he started working on me he saw what was happening and came up with a good plan of recovery for me that has done wonders with the back pain but more with the annoying burping. No more burping, it’s great. If you are having any issues that you don’t know what’s causing them, think back to make sure you didn’t hurt your back and never got it checked out…I say go see a chiropractor, you never know what they can help with. Learn more about yourself, go see a chiropractor, I suggest Dr. Baldy off Six Forks road in Raleigh, NC. His is a great Doctor and really helped me out a lot.

Dr Baldy, Chiropractic, A good option for pain management A few weeks ago my wife had a car accident, she had some pain on her left arm so the insurance company send us to see Dr Baldy, as it happens He notice my neck troubles, I had cancer, a brain tumor back on 2000 had surgery, then chemo, and even Radiation therapy, as part of the surgery they fused some of my cervical vertebras, also in order to help support my head install 2 metal rod from the base of the skull to the cervicals. A cronic pain ensue... for then next 10 years several Doctors, pain clinic, Oncologist, etc were consulted, first was Vicodin, then Ocycotin, for the last year I have been taking Morphin to deal wiht the pain. The last thing on my mind was to visit a Chiropractor, since my bones (cervicals) were fused and in a fix position, I tought a Chiropractor could not help me in any way, I was wrong... As I said at the begining Dr Baldy notice me and offer to help, I tough "Il try it, " nothing to loose, to my surprise after a couple of adjustment, the pain has been reduce, plus now I can move my head and shoulders better, Im taking less medication, sleeping better, in short a better life, thanks Dr Baldy. The staff is pretty friendly, and courteus, always willing to help, the $$ was not an issue, since a payment plant was work out. I seriously recomend Dr Baldy and the staff to all person suffering from any kind of pain, specially if it like mine, give them a chance to help you, you never know what good can come out of it...

Dr. Baldy made me feel better the first time he adjusted me. He knew I had been in an accident, and that I had been hit from behind the first time he assessed my neck with his hands. He took x-rays and adjusted me that first day. I hurt so much that I could not even turn a doorknob at home, before he worked on me. My hands would release on their own accord. When I would go to sit down, so many of my joints would crack it sounded like someone was playing La Cucaracha on the Marimba. I feel so much better that after about three months of seeing Dr. Baldy I was able to go back to work! Every one in his office made me feel welcomed right from the start. It is worth going just to see their smiles. The first time I went in I had actually stopped at a different chiropractors office, and the way the office staff looked at me, and treated me I simply left. I went down the road, walked into Dr. Baldys office, and was greeted by smiles from both April and Meredith. They did not care that I was dressed in old clothes I wear when I am trapping wild cats. It just did not matter to them. I needed help and they treated me with kindness and respect, and made certain that I received the help I needed. I want to thank everyone there for making my life much more enjoyable and pain free.

I initially went to see Dr. Baldy almost 10 years ago because I was having pain in my neck and shoulder. I also suffer from migraine headaches. Dr. Baldy was my first chiropractic experience and I wouldn’t even dream of going anywhere else. He has helped with many ailments over the years and along the way I have learned from him about how I can gain optimal health and wellness from my visits in addition to helping with my pain and headaches. I have literally had days where I walked into his office with a headache….and walk OUT without one! Amazing! Dr. Baldy is absolutely wonderful to work with. He takes the time to ask questions, listen, explain and makes me feel like I am the only patient in the office at the time. He cares about my personal goals and accomplishments too. He has encouraged, treated my tired legs and “high fived” me all the way through my first half marathon. He cares about family, too. He has treated both my husband and my daughter. I would entrust him to any family member or friend, hands down. He cares about the community. The office collects donations for Food Bank, as well as, Toys for Tots multiple times a year. Lastly, everyone in the office is very friendly and welcoming every time I walk in the door. What more can a patient ask for?

If I could give Drs. Baldy and Houfek six stars I would. These two men and their amazing staff are providing me the relief Ive been seeking for nine years. My lower back muscle spasms and sciatic nerve pain have been worsening over the years and affecting everything I do - sitting at my desk, doing daily chores, exercising, and simply driving a car. For nine years Ive sought help from physicians, orthopedists, and physical therapists. Anti-inflammatories, mucscle relaxants, and leg stretches provided very little, if any relief. My first visit to Chiropractic Partners - to any chiropractor for that matter - was 4 weeks ago. I was referred by co-workers who have experienced the relief I sought. I am already in so much less pain and discomfort. The muscle spasms and sciatic nerve pain are virtually non-existant. My whole body is moving more freely. I had forgotten how easy, pain free movement felt! At my morning appointment this week I read Dr. Baldys list of recent references and was excited to see that a few area doctors, including some from Raleigh Orthopaedic, had referred patients to them. I am now such a believer that this alternative solution to spinal problems should be among the first course of treatment options and hope that more MDs will too.
