Thats what Dr. Linker said to my husband when I took him there for sudden gain of over 120lb. Dr. Linkers advice - put him on a 400-800cal a day diet. Um... no. I demanded and got an endocrinology referal and my husband has several major health problems that Dr. Linker was willing to ignore. Not only was the Holocaust remark completely unprofessional and possibly the most prejudicial thing Ive ever heard a doctor say, it was an excuse not to look further into some serious health problems my husband had, just because he weighed 400lb. Since then, hubbys gotten diagnosed with several endocrine disorders, sleep apnea, and chronic bronchitis. So much for 400cal a day diets, eh? If I werent a nurse who knew better, I shudder to think what my husband would look like under Dr. Linkers care for a few months. Probably a Holocaust victim.

Having Dr. Linker as our family doctor is what it must have been like for families in the old days. Where the doctor knew all of your family and kids by name. Everytime I am there he ask me about my kids and how they are doing. I have never felt rushed in any way. I always leave there feeling like my kids and I are truly important to him and that I am a freind. I moved about 4 years ago and now live about 15 miles from his office. The thought of finding another doctor has never crossed my mind. Me and my kids will grow old with him being our Primary Family Physician.

Dr. Linker picked up prostate cancer on a routine exam - palpated anomalies that prompted referral & exam by a urologist - who didnt "sense" Dr. Linkers finding, but proceeded with a biopsy on the strength of his respect for Dr. Linker. Turns out Dr. Tim was right - and a very agressive cancer (family history, etc.) was nipped in the bud just in time. Had Dr. Linker not caught it he would have been invited to my funeral. I have appreciated this offices care, time devoted to each patient, and expertise. -and visits with Tim are always fun, to boot!

Dr. Linker is the best doctor I have ever had. His staff as well as Dr. Linker make you feel comfortable and cared for. I recommend him to anyone I know that needs a doctor. He always made me feel better. I moved away and after a year have had no luck in finding a doctor I actually like going to. I am tempted to move back to Ohio jist to be under Dr. Linkers care again. That is just how good he is.
