My personal experience with this practice was very negative. The practice itself appears to be very disconnected between the administration, nursing staff and the actual doctors. Many of the “doctors” are not actual M.D.s. Any prescriptions provided come with a conditional two to three month required visitation aimed at increasing revenue for the practice. The nurses in charge of refilling prescriptions are very rude, obnoxious, distrusting and focused more on getting you to schedule another office visit rather than renewing your prescribed prescriptions. The practice is very revenue oriented and it is blatantly obvious that getting you into the office as much as possible trumps patient care. On several occasions, upon speaking with a physician after scheduling a *mandatory* appointment, the doctor emphasized how unnecessary it was for me to come in for the appointment. The doctor actually said the response I received from the nurse refusing to refill my prescription was “complete bull****” (his words, not mine) and informed me that I could have gone into seizures because the nurse refused to refill my prescription while I was out of town and not immediately available for an appointment. The doctor also informed me he has no control over the nursing staff and gave me the impression that this entire organization is very dysfunctional being run by administrators and profit seekers; not the doctors. Also be prepared to provide blood and urine samples on every visit regardless if it is necessary for your treatment. This is simply a tactic used by Eagles Landing Family Practice to charge you (or your health insurance) as much as possible on each and every visit. Depending upon your insurance plan, be prepared to pay out of pocket for these tests. If you are a new patient expect to have at least three visits before the doctors will trust you enough as a patient to prescribe any medication that will actually aid you medical condition. Several times, after waiting three hours, I was sent home with prescriptions for medication that I could purchase over the counter. If you are lucky enough to receive medication expect to become a habitual visitor to their offices every three months (at a minimum) in order to continue treatment. It seems their business model prioritizes draining you and your insurance company for every dollar possible over patient care. If you do end up trying this office be sure to insist you see an actual medical doctor otherwise you will end us waiting three hours to see a physician’s assistant in his or her early twenties, fresh out of school, and very limited in real world experience/diagnosis. I would strongly suggest saving time, frustration, and money by searching for a doctor’s office other than Eagles Landing Family Practice. In fairness to the other locations, my experience has been solely based on the practice on Highway 81.

I have a love/hate relationship with this office and I only go here when I absolutely have to because their appointment availability is pretty much open ended. However, the doctors here are hit and miss. I saw Dr. Lafosse this past Friday for an ankle sprain that required X-rays and an abscess that I had had for three months. She said she was going to give me an antibiotic to treat it, which I assumed was topical, instead of draining it. I picked up an oral antibiotic that she had called in, even though I had already expressed I had been on an oral antibiotic while the abscess was present and it didnt effect it. She also said she was going to take a picture of it for my file, which due to her rushing through the appointment she completely forgot to do. My ankle is so painful I cannot bear weight on it and had to use a wheel chair during the duration of the appointment. She ordered X-rays, which they did in the office, and said that unless there was a break she was just going to prescribe me anti inflammatories, oral pain medication and advice me to continue to keep it wrapped like I was. I kept expressing over and over that I literally could not walk and that if i could possibly get a brace or crutches that that would be best. After the X-rays, she came into the room and started rambling off the plethora of medication I was to receive and mentioned a pain injection. I asked again about crutches and she said that the office did not give patients braces or crutches and instead wrote me a prescription for crutches to take with me. In the middle of the rushed rambling she remembered she had not looked at the X-rays. She walked out and was back in the room in under a minute. She said she didnt notice anything wrong but that the radiologist would get back to me with official results on Tuesday. I have never in my life had an appointment with a doctor who ordered X-rays they then could not read. However, due to the lack of time she spent looking at them I am left wondering if she even bothered to glance at them. Once she concluded that I had basically made an appointment and spent hundreds of dollars on X-rays and there was nothing she was going to do I, the patient, had to remind her of the pain injection and the prescription for the crutches. After all of that neglect in the appointment I went to pick up my perscriptions and ended up only with the antibiotics for my abscess. I called the office and there was nothing on file about pain medication or anti inflammatories. If ever you want to visit this office be aware that the level of care you may receive can vary from decent to dismal. The supporting nursing and X-ray staff are very nice, but the doctors who rotate her are dismissive and do a very poor job. I would advice you to save your money and wait to see a better physician.

Was here for a mammogram a month ago - still no results. Not acceptable. Was told Id get a letter in the mail - nothing. Tick tock. Sent them an email today, well see if they respond, but wont hold my breath. While here for the mammo, went upstairs to see about another case of severe hives I was having. I was a walk-in and was seen within 15 minutes. Very fast. Rene took my vitals and was super nice and pleasant. Dr. Hadi was nice and got me the shot I needed and was calling in medications to my pharmacy. This was all by 9AM. At 2:15PM I called the offices as my medications were not at the pharmacy. The girl that answered the phone was sullen and rude, never gave her name, I explained I was still waiting on meds - she took all my info and then said - one moment - and tossed me into the nurses station voicemail. I left a message, having to repeat myself, only to NOT get a call back or my meds called in. Called the Stockbridge location at 3:45PM and talked to Valerie, who answered the phone pleasantly and professionally. Explained I needed my medication. She checked my records, verified they still were NOT called in, and said she could take care of it for me. 25 minutes later, CVS sends me a text that my medications are ready. The folks that answer the phone here and the folks that should be calling in medications - complete fails. I NEVER did get a call back from anyone from the nurses station and, frankly, should have, considering the nature of my call and when they saw they my meds had to be called in from another location because they dropped the ball. Its just rude and unprofessional. I give Dr. Hadi and Rene 5 stars, the rest of the staff, ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH.
