I chose Fonke Chiropractic as Dr. Ben had worked with my father and brother on their back problems and they raved about the results. I moved back to NC in February after a six year stint in LA. I drove 37 hours in my Honda Civic with my brother all the way back to NC. It was fun, but I had terrible back pain as a result of the 12, 13, 12 hour days of driving. I couldnt run or workout without significant lower back pain. Id run for not even a mile before I had to stop and walk, not due to exhaustion, but agonizing pain. It was frustrating, to say the least, as physical fitness has always been a huge part of my life. I made an appointment with Dr. Ben. He has you watch a short video on what exactly his line of work entails and write down what pain youre experiencing. After speaking with him, he then gives a diagnosis as to what he believes is occurring. From there, he breaks down what to expect as far as treatment and how often visits would need to happen. He told me on day one that the goal in mind was infrequent visits (once a month, if that) just to check up on things. Wed have to start off with more visits, sometimes twice a week, but it was always apparent that his goal was my well-being. Eventually, through visits that were sometimes frustrating (admittedly, Im not a patient person) and a little painful, things did get better. Im now training for a half marathon and Im completely pain free (well, back wise, anyway)! I see him only once a month now to ensure everything is functioning properly. Dr. Ben and his wife, Miran, are great people and Im very thankful I was referred to them for their quality of work and wonderful attitudes. I highly recommend Fonke Chiropractic if youre in the Cary area with back issues.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Ben’s for the past four years. We currently live in Raleigh and drive 30 minutes to Cary for our appointments because there is no other chiropractor we will see! Dr. Ben is knowledgeable in his field, passionate about his profession and genuinely cares for the health of his patients. His office hours are very accommodating to any schedule and we have never had to wait over 5 minutes to be seen. I had a bulging disc last month that was creating great pain in my lower back and down my left leg. After one visit I was 90% better, after the second visit completely back to normal. We feel very lucky to have found to Dr. Ben. We highly recommend Fonke Chiropractic and Decompression Center for anyone seeking chiropractic care.

I had three visits with Dr. Fonke - I had came in because I wasnt able to turn my head or tilt it up or down without pain. After the first visit I was able to actually do my day-to-day without constant pain. I found myself waiting on the next appointment because it just felt so good. So fast forward to the end of my third visit and I am at 95% - no pain, just a touch of soreness in the spot I used to not even be able to move. The office is clean, coffee and tea are provided, and an incredibly personable receptionist is there to greet you when you check-in. Dr. Fonke loves what he does, and it shows. He is also good at what he does, and it shows as well. If I ever have to go back to the chiropractor, I know who Ill see.

I was having numbness in my arm and I decided to see if Dr. Fonke could help. I was impressed by his scientific approach and commitment to first finding out where the problem was. After an x-ray, visual examination, and muscle activity examination, Dr. Fonke discovered that I had a pinched nerve in my neck. This was the result of a football injury in high school that was resurfacing 20 years later. Dr. Fonke put together a comprehensive care plan and within a few weeks, the numbness had rescinded. I continued seeing Dr. Fonke afterwards for regular maintenance on my neck and back to make sure the issue didnt arise again. I highly recommend Dr. Fonke. He is a true health care professional!

Dr. Ben Fonke creates a professional yet friendly atmosphere for all his patients. I am currently a patient with Dr. Ben for help with back pain and alignment during pregnancy. He found he can also help me with my terrible headaches-which I didnt know a chiropractor could do!!! I recommend this practice to anyone needing any level of chiropractic help-whether it be mild back pain to a pregnant woman with a baby laying on their nerves incorrectly. Dr. Ben will do his best to help you while keeping your personal pain tolerance into account. And many of his visits are short- 10 to 15 minutes depending on what you need adjusted. Great practice and a great person!

Ive had mild back and neck pain that were athletics induced for several years, but never thought to do anything about it. I happened upon the opportunity to visit Dr. Fonke, and I was very happy I did! Dr. Fonkes exceptional recognition and resolution of the alignment and muscle issues with my spine made the decision to go back to him for more chiropractic work painless (pun intended)! He shared a wealth of knowledge about the human body, the importance of good spinal health and how it relates to good overall health. My only regret is not going to see him earlier!

As someone new to chiropractic care, I was unsure about what to expect from my first appointment. After three visits, my experience has been nothing but positive. First, the location on Kildaire Farm is very convenient to where I live in Cary. Dr. Ben did a great job of explaining chiropractic care and what to expect moving forward. He took his time in letting me know what was going to happen during the appointment and was great at answering any questions. I highly recommend Dr. Ben to anyone looking for quality care in the area.

Dr. Fonke is a caring, knowledgeable Chiropracter who really takes the time to understand my individual needs. His initial examination was thorough, and Ive experienced excellent relief in my spin after just a few visits with him. The decompression table is more gentle than other manual adjustment methods Ive experienced, but just as if not more effective. I would highly recommend Dr. Ben and Fonke Chiropractic!

I met Dr. Ben and his wife at a health fair in Cary. They were so easy to talk to. From there, I became a patient and he is the kindest doctor that I have ever dealt with. He is a big guy so if he needs to use his strength, he can and will, but he blends his machinery with his knowledge to find and root out issues with your back and spine. He has a great demeanor. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Ben is the best. He really did a great job explaining what my issues were, why they happened, and how to address them. I come away from every session feeling better educated on my body. Most of all - with Dr. Ben, you never have to worry about being sold a service you dont need. Summary - theres no one else Id recommend over Dr. Ben period. I love this guy.
