Extremely poor experience. To summarize, they operate as if you are just a paycheck, lose labs, dont talk to you, when they do talk they are sarcastic and snarky, or they just completely ignore you. When they apologize for their mistakes they arent sincere. And there is no communication between any of the office workers. Always remember this. "Everyone you know is 100+ people and always treat them right. You never know who might walk in your door." I am a business owner in the area and will be telling everyone about this experience. Again, you never know who might walk through your door. The full story is below. Please excuse any grammatical errors. This happened this morning and its taking everything I have to focus. Luckily, my cat is doing well now that she is back home. ------------------------------------------------ First I take my cat Vala here a few months back and meet the vet for the first time. Get about 2 minutes with him. No personalization just a quick this is whats wrong and he left. Felt like I was just a paycheck. Last Friday, Vala went in for another infection. Met a different vet. Apparently the son. I dont remember their names because they literally walked in and went straight to the problem. At one point, he walked in and was still closing the door and starting to talk about an x-ray and I had no clue what was going on. No personalization. No care for the client. I spent over 2 hours there Friday and saw the doctor and nurse for about 5 minutes. Just a pay check. They wanted to run labs which would be done Saturday. Called Saturday. No idea where the lab is. Called Monday. No idea. At 8am today I get a call that they lost the labs. Four days later! First of all, if she had something serious she could be dead now because they lost the labs and werent solving the problem. I call back to see if I need to schedule an appointment. The lady is literally like "Why are you calling? Didnt you understand the voicemail I left?" and then says "Sorry" in that sarcastic dont give a s**t way. I take Vala back to the vet, sign in and sit there grinding my teeth hoping I can keep from going off on them. One lady calls my name. She doesnt even know why I am there! What??? They are like. "Do you have an appointment?" and another girl goes "I thought [so and so] told him to come in tomorrow." Then they proceed to ask me why I am here because they cant find any record of it. So she walks over kind of like doop dee doo with a smirk like "Oops, my bad." She takes Vala and goes to find the technician that called to sort it out. Brings the cat back, says "Sorry" and thats about all I got from anybody. And it was another "sorry" like she is a robot programmed to say that because they screwed up. I put the cat in the car and realize she is covered in urine. They were supposed to extract urine for the urine lab. So they did, but never cleaned her up! Now poor Vala is in the bathroom after I had to bathe her and clean her carrier. In the end, I said nothing. Why? Because it was my 3rd visit and they literally did not give two s**ts about me or my animal. Why waste the time talking to a secretary when they arent going to care once you leave anyway? Everyone you know is 100+ people and you never know how many people or how much pull they have with others in the community.

If I could give no stars I would but I had to choose one. I have been bringing both of my dog her for about two years never really had a problem really nice people, but that all changed yesterday. I have a Great Dane and I took him into this vet because she tore his ear open and I couldnt get it to stop bleeding. This first visit very helpful wrapped it for me gave me medicine I paid for it, and it was a little expensive to wrap her ear but whatever its stopped the blood going everywhere and him bleeding. I took the bandage off when I was suppose to and his ear was great no problems. About a week later of taking his bandage off he busted open his ear again(Not as Bad). So I went to this vet and went to the front desk and talk to one of the ladies and said I had my dog in here a couple of weeks ago he bushed open his ear and the Doctor wrapped it and I cant afford another 300 visit to wrap his ear, can you tell me what kind of glue they used on his ear so the bandage will stick so I can wrap it at home. She went into the back Im sure to talk to the Doctor there and came back up and said sorry I can not tell you what they used. Okay well I kinda understand that. So my next question was okay can you ask what type of glue I can use so it doesnt hurt my dog. She replied. No I can not. Being very upset I just turned around and walked out. This is a Veterinary hospital and you cant even give helpful advise. I understand they need to make money, but they couldnt even tell me what type of glue to use so it wouldnt hurt my dog. Im very upset with this if I was to call my doctor and ask for advise they would gladly give it to me. I also understand this wasnt the front desk ladies fault she was just going by what the person in charge said but its rude, unhelpful, and greedy. They must not care too much they are just in it to make money and take advantage of people/ animals in need of help. I will be finding a new vet to take both my dogs too. Very upset with my experience. Thanks North Ridge Veterinary Hospital for not helping or even giving advise to help, very thoughtful of them. I got his ear wrapped and stopped bleeding without your advise. I hope you will be more considerate, kind, thoughtful, professional, and overall more caring next time to your customers because you have lost this one and I will be telling other I know with pets to not bring them here. Have a Great Day.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My parents have been going to this vet for 22 years. Recently this place has just become a joke. The receptionists are extremely unprofessional and rude. If you are getting your pet spayed or neutered they make you feel guilty if you dont have hundreds of extra dollars for extra testing to make sure your dog lives through the surgery. We waited three hours after the time they told us we could pick her up after having surgery to be spayed. While waiting, I asked why it was taking so long and I was told there were no available doctors. When I pointed out that there was one right behind her, she got extremely rude with me and "informed" me that he was a surgeon without turning around to see who. Guess who was in the room with us, the "surgeon". Anytime you have an appointment make sure your day is free because you can be sure to be sitting in there for hours before being seen. We got a 8 week old puppy, after having her for ONE day we had an emergency on a Saturday at 9:30 in the morning. They told us that they could see her but it would be an automatic additional $75 fee but they wanted us to wait until Monday. Being that she was so young, we didnt feel that it could wait. We decided to call Lake Animal Hospital in Painesville and they gladly made an appointment for her at 10:45. They did not have a fee even though it was the FIRST time being there, we did not sit around for hours, and everyone was extremely friendly. It cost under $50 to have her seen that day. This is sad because it used to be a good place to take your pets.
