I have never written a review before, but in this case I felt it was very important to let other parents know that our experience with A New Vision was deplorable. Doctor Stone was great, and the exam was very thorough and she was very good with children. And if that is all that you need, then it is fine. But if the results come back to tell you that your child needs vision therapy, then I would think twice before doing the vision therapy with them. If it is an adult or teenager that needs the therapy, then it might be ok, but NOT for a younger child. The vision therapists are organized and the equipment is good, but they do not seem happy to be there, and do not work well with children as they have very little patience, and no warmth. I understand that the lessons are not fun, but short tempers, rudeness, and punishment, is not a way to treat a child. Both vision therapists were extremely condescending, to both child and parent. And one of them even chided my child for the problem we were there to solve, which made me question if she even knew why we were there, and thus made me question if the vision therapy we were doing was even catered to my child. I have now talked to other parents who have done vision therapy at other places, and this is NOT the way it is supposed to be. My biggest regret is that I didnt go to a different place the first time I saw the red-flags. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, something I highly lament as my child is now marked by the experience. If you read the reviews, they are all great for vision screening and lenses, do not trust them for vision therapy.

Dr Stone, Collen and staff have been fabulous over the 15 years we have been seeing them. My oldest son, Nick received Vision Therapy back in 2000, and my youngest son, Matthew had vision therapy a few years later. Both are bright, gifted individuals and doing amazing things now. My oldest had eye surgery, strabismus, and Amblyopia, along with a congenial eye defect, and now is in college, and has had an amazing year serving as the immediate past chief for the Order of The Arrow, Eagle Scout, Honors student in college and provides leadership talks across the nation. I highly recommend A New Vision for your familys vision health!

Ive been a patient at A New Vision for many years, and have always been very pleased with the service and quality of this practice. Dr. Stone is an excellent optometrist and is always current with the latest types of vision care and correction including restoring or improving vision through exercises and therapy. Several years ago I had a serious injury to my cornea, and the immediate treatment and subsequent specialist care coordinated by Dr, Stone saved my vision. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved my experience. Everyone was super nice and accepting. My best visit with an optometrist and will be going back for all my vision needs. They have multiple work areas that were all clean, each person greeted me and were respectful and kind. They even laughed at some of my terrible jokes! A+

Great doctors and equipment, however the staff at the front counter is unfortunately quite lazy and unwilling to help. They refused to call insurance and because of that insurance no longer paid my bills, causing me to switch. Great eye therapist as well
