The doctor is fine to work with but the office staff are horrible and offensive / rude to customers. There is no customer service whatsoever. I had a prescription provided that did not adequately correct my vision and was then lectured about their files / documentation from a year ago not being complete (as though this is my concern or fault) when I visited to advise them of my vision concern. The receptionist was then very rude when I tried to steer the conversation back to my vision vs. being lectured on their system documentation inaccuracy, to the point of being told I was lying because the treatment plan I described did not quite match what was in their files (remember, a minute earlier she told me their files were inaccurate). If you have the financial means to choose your provider and want any level of normal / reasonable customer service as you would get from any professional service provider, DO NOT visit this office as you will have a VERY bad experience with the office staff sooner or later. On my prior visit, someone was in a similar dispute as I departed. It seems arguing with and insulting their paying customers is routine.

My daughter has seen Remy for a couple of years now. He and his staff are patient and kind to us. When my son was diagnosed with autism, ofcourse I brought him to Remy and he confirmed nystagnus, but the important thing is that he talked with me about how the eyes work for us all, then corrolated that with my sons condition. That is something specialists had yet to do-give me insight on what my son experiences. That proved to be invaluable. I learned better questions to ask and now we know he doesnt see borders. We know how to make things easier for him to make out. Remy told me what to expect for both the kids. You cant put a price on these things. What Im saying is if you listen to his messages, he offers more than eye doctoring. He offers you his full knowledge, education, and fun personality. Thank you, doctor.

My sons school paid for a visit there through a grant. This guy told me my son was going blind! He claimed his optic nerves were atrophied and would only get worse and wanted me to set up multiple procedures. Since literally NO other eye doctor had mentioned anything at all like this, I got a second opinion and just like I thought, my sons eyes are fine. There is no atrophy. Seemed like a way to pad and grab money to me. Ill never go back.

Most horrific expierence with Dr. Deplanche. I was absolutely astounded by his outright racism and comments regarding my eye problems being linked to my race saying, "aztecs and Mexicans having far sightedness due to picking food from trees." As well as mentioning its "great that you dont have children because most Latino girls do." Such a horrible expierence, I was so embarrassed and upset and will NEVER go back.
