Whats important to you...sure great cosmetic work, friendly staff, clean environment, great decor, and a little goodie bag when you leave always, but watch out for the trickery of taking pictures and the manipulation of getting you to sign that release form. When you pay a dentist to do a job the staff should not try to make you feel as if you owe the dentist anything -- this is not free, its a paying service. I was disgusted by that. I said staff because the most integral part of that staff -- the person who tells you how great he is and how great it will be for you has a huge conflict of interest in that they have more than a working relationship. What I thought was a great employee turned out to be almost married and that info seems to be very hush hush -- nothing is wrong with it, but please let us know so we can look out for our best interest instead of believing everything is for OUR own good. The other thing that you should watch out for is the diagnosis without the benefit of an xray. If you walk in in pain and you know you have a cavity, insist that thats what it is. Thanks to that problem, I had to get a root canal elsewhere, because a year earlier I was misdiagnosed.Not only was I misdiagnosed, I was charged $300 for that visit I will end by saying he is a brilliant cosmetic dentist who I think is way over priced, but hey it is a nice environment, (sure you can watch tv but dont you have that at home) with staff who may or may not be looking out for YOUR best interest.

I had great experience with Dr. Michael Negru and his staff. They were professional, experienced and caring. My front bottom tooth needed an implant and I kept delaying it for years. My boyfriend recently was seen by Dr. Negru and he raved about his experience. I already had a primary dentist that I go to; however, I was never fully confident with her work. With my boyfriend referral, I made an appointment with Dr Negru. I got in and after he evaluated my tooth using the latest technology, he was able to install the post for my implant later that same day. In a week Dr. Negru will install my temporary tooth. Im very pleased with his work. Dr Negru specialty is implants and he has years of experience and uses the latest technology available. After the procedure was done he encourage me to take my pain killer prescription even though I initially said I didnt need it. So happy he suggested that for me because later that night the pain set in and luckily I had the pills to take the edge off. The next morning, Jennifer called and text me to see how I was feeling and of course I was good. Thank you Dr. Negru and staff, I appreciated what you have done for me.

I have finally found a dentist I can go back to! After being royally screwed over by my last dentist (laurelhurst dentistry) and being charged for a crown that was never put on I had to go about calling my insurance to see what was going on. They looked into it and told me there was nothing they could do. Come to find out though the Secretary at the front desk of bright smile dental looked into it more in depth and was able to give me much more information than my own insurance! That was incredible I couldnt believe it! Then I came in for my next appt and was at first very surprised. I had been so nervous going in to be instantly relieved when the numbing shots didnt even hurt. The dental hygenist was also amazing being very kind to me even though I can be a bit of a nervous wreck; she really helped me calm down and get through it. Then towards the end of the appointment Dr. Negru helped me with my crown despite the trouble with my insurance. I didnt even know people like this still existed! I am still amazed by the whole experience, I have never recomended a dentist to anyone but I will now. Bright smile dental you rock!

As a veteran makeup artist on the front lines for the last 20 years. I thought Id seen the best dental work money could buy . Id tried several dentist .Theyve got to be good I thought "the a-list" trusted them. How ever they re in LA and Im in Oregon and the cost very high. This trek wasnt an option when my son broke out his front tooth "the day before" his senior pictures. I decided to take a chance and see a Doctor close by. Dr.Micheal Negru. To my amazement we were in and out in 30 min with a temporary front tooth that looked so real and perfectly matched. He even lengthened it and made my sons smile look better than ever. We didnt want the permanent crown replacement because the temporary that Dr Negrus so effortlessly crafted by hand was such a better. He has since done all my dental work and even saved my tooth late on a Sunday afternoon when Id developed a severe abscess and in extreme pain. I am so grateful to have found him. His work is fast and flawless. He has made every step of the process enjoyable and painless. I have confidently reffered many of my clients.

Dr. Mike Negru is the most professional Dentist I know. I have a big fear of dentist as most people do and so, I did not take care of my teeth the way that they should have been. I was also born with a very small mouth and because of this my teeth did not grow the right way. I met Dr. Mike Negru a few years ago, through my wife and He has been my dentist ever since. He has done a few procedures for me and while this was being done, I was at first afraid, but because he was moving fast and was very gentle , I was confident and able to let Him do his job to take care of my teeth. DR. Mike Negru is accurate to the highest level and works so efficiently, that you do not know most of the time He is even working on you. Besides all he has done for my teeth, I even have a new smile because of the new Snap-on- Smile that Dr Negru has offered me. It gave me confidence in myself and it fills like I am a new person. It feels so good when you are talking with someone knowing you finally have a bright smile! Thank you Dr Negru!

Bright Smile Dental is very clean, professional, and comfortable. Dr. Negru and his staff are a pleasure to interact with and very knowledgeable of their field. Their location doesnt provide much parking on their property, but there is plenty of parting in the adjacent parking lot. Any inconvenience in logistics surrounding an appointment there is vastly out weighted by the quality of their dentistry practice. My family and I have been using Bright Smile for the last few years, for routine cleanings and some dental repair work. I think that well be going to Bright Smile for as long as we live in the Portland metro area. I also love the new TVs that are installed on the ceiling. You can watch TV while lying there getting worked on. Awesome idea! @kila There is nothing suspicious about these reviews. Bright Smile is top notch.
