I have been a patient of Dr. Hartwig at Marcum Chiropractic for several years, visiting his office for periodic chiropractic treatments. Due to the nature of my job, I spend many hours in a seated position, causing stress and imbalance to both my back and neck. Through a comprehensive evaluation prior to beginning treatment, Dr. Hartwig developed an effective plan to help manage the discomforts that I would often experience. The treatment plan developed for me by Dr. Hartwig has helped to keep me feeling healthy, pain free, and able to keep up with the activities that I enjoy as a long time endurance athlete. The office is located directly across from the North Prescott Street station on the Portland MAX, and combined with the convenience of online appointment scheduling, Marcum Chiropractic has been ideal for me as an integral part of my overall healthcare.

Several weeks ago I was rear ended while driving. I tore some muscles in my lower back and suffered whiplash. I was advised by an emergency room doctor, whom Ive know for several years, to go see a chiropractor. Now, Ive never been to a chiropractor before much less a massage therapist or acupuncturist. I get to see all three at Marcum Chiropractic and they are all AMAZING! I walked in there the first day and my pain was at a 9 out of 10 and now, a short few weeks later, my pain is down to 2 out of 10. They are all professionals at Marcum Chiropractic and they each take their time with every patient, never rushing them to do too much too fast. I would gladly recommend anyone who has ever been in a car accident or who is just looking for a good chiropractor, massage therapist or acupuncturist, to go to Marcum Chiropractic.

I was recommended to this clinic while receiving care in the ER after I was rear ended in an automobile accident. I had never been to a Chiropractor before, and was a little apprehensive. The building was easy to find (right on the max line for easy access for anyone using public transportation) and the parking was convenient. The building is new, and the office is bright and modern. Dr. Hartwig is kind, knowledgeable, and informative. He explains everything in great detail, and makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. Its so convenient to have both Chiropractic work, and massages done in the same place (they also offer acupuncture!). Justine is a terrific massage therapist. I always feel rested and mellow after a session with her. I have and will continue to recommend to everyone I know.

Last Friday I woke with a nasty, disabling tension headache and after a combination of Dr Todds neck & back adjustment, Sierras acupuncture treatment, and Justines massage, I left the office headache free! I couldnt believe how fast I felt relief and was able to move on with the rest of my day with energy. I also deeply appreciate how accommodating Dr Hartwigs clinic is for my family. As a stay-at-home mom with a 2yr old, it isnt always possible to secure childcare, and having 3 treatments a week has been necessary for pain management. Im grateful that we dont have to cancel our appointments when this happens. Everyone in the office is super friendly, professional, and good at what they do. Im a fan and will be recommending Marcum Chiropractic to all my friends with great enthusiasm!

The entire staff at Marcum Chiropratic is amazing! I went there after a car accident landed me in the hospital and Legacy was kind enough to recommend them. Now I see why! Everyone there is super knowledgeable about every aspect of the body and very personable. Dr. Hartwig is fantastic. Not only does he take the time to listen to everything that is wrong, but he also gets down to the core of the matter. Towards the end of my treatment, he definitely made sure I was 110% before sending me back out into the world. Even all their little tips and tricks still work like a charm! Thank you Dr. Hartwig and the entire Marcum Chiropractic staff for being so wonderful and patient with me! I definitely will recommend you to friends and family.

Marcum Chiropractic is such a positive and healing environment. Dr. Todd Hartwig is such a knowledgeable chiropractor who listens with care, and has the experience to treat you right and get you on course for healing. I cant say enough about his genuinely caring personality and character. Youll like him right away, as I did! They also have a very nice massage therapist on staff to help work out the kinks, which is so convenient. The office space is pleasant and relaxing to be in, with inspiring Pacific Northwest area athletic photos to enjoy, and a nice size physical therapy area so Todd can work with you on exercises and stretching to help continue the healing process. I highly recommend Todd and his staff!

Every visit with Dr. Hartwig that I have had so far (around six months) has been great! He is very responsive to feedback and is great at explaining what he is doing and why. My back and neck pain has decreased significantly. Its crazy how these back issues always start with the dumbest things for me - putting on a tshirt, fastening my seatbelt, and a couple others that were legitimately stupid for me to do. Dr. Hartwig has given me advice on how to prevent the spasms from happening in the future and thus far everything has worked. He and his office staff have been very professional, helpful, and supportive every step of the way. I highly recommend his services.

What a wonderful experience. I walked in barely capable of walking due to my over-exertion with the garden shovel and came out feeling like I was not only going to survive, but would soon thrive again. Dr. Todd Hartwig was meticulous in his discovery of the issues, extremely communicative in his treatment, and most of all - the results were effective. Their staff, especially Mina, is incredibly easy to work with - taking care of all the insurance and scheduling. Its like Dr. Hartwig says " you dont have to live with the pain". Im ready to shovel again in just 3 days - Im anxious to try his strategies for prevention of issues going forward...

I was recommended to this office from my urgent care visit after a car accident and it has proved to be nothing short of wonderful/helpful since my first visit. Not only is Todd a very attentive Chiropractor but the entire crew (Receptionist, Massage therapist and Acupuncturist) are all extremely kind and accommodating. They are all very in-tune with the work they are doing and it shows. I met Dr. Todd Hartwig through a networking group. When I was rear-ended in an accident, I remembered this was his specialty, and I am SO glad I went to see him!! His staff is efficient, professional, practical and he helped me get so much better in a short time. I willingly go out of my way to see them because the care is so helpful and great! The massage therapist went to the best school in the area and she really remembers each client and helps them! I give them 5 stars and I would recommend them to anyone who needs help!

A great Chiropractic experience. Dr Hartwig and his staff are friendly and accommodating. Ive always been hesitant to go to a chiropractor, but Dr Hartwig made the experience comfortable and positive. After my back seized up, Dr Hartwig listened to my complaints, asked questions to make sure he knew if the problem was muscular or something more serious. The adjustment was not scary, and he was able to loosen my back incredibly so that I was able to get back to work. I highly recommend Marcum Chiropractic!
