(Patti has now left the clinic) Patti really spends a good amount of time during the appointment and cares, but follow up is non-existent. I felt like I had to do half of their jobs for them by following up on test results and getting referrals that were promised but never happened. I would have to schedule another appointment just so I could follow up on tests and re-request referrals which is wasteful spending but generates income for the clinic (not sure if that is their goal here). The front desk almost never returns calls, and the medical assistant voicemail is rarely returned either. Whats worse is when they promise to relay info to Patti and she never gets it. The medical assistants suck at drawing blood. They poke & prod me leaving me bruised for weeks (no joke) whereas Quest or Providence gets my blood drawn immediately without bruising or difficulty. One of the MAs (female) at PIH acts like shes overloaded on energy drinks, which is not good for drawing blood carefully! I feel like this clinic is really understaffed and doesnt take care of the patients they have before accepting new clients. Someone with a serious disease should look elsewhere unless they enjoy having to poke & prod the staff for any followup care. Many times I had abnormal test results which went unnoticed. The one time I saw Vanessa she seemed very rushed during the appointment. No followup from her either. I saw Dr. Grasso once too. He has a good bedside manner, but I was promised a referral to a specialist and he would never follow thru on it. I ended up leaving the clinic for a small practice.

Ive been a client of an ND here for a year & Vanessa is a fast talker & unlike any other medical practitioner Ive been to she actually does crunch a lot of quality work in her turn over. Im not ignorant so I dont judge the amount of time for a petty mistake like forgetting to give me one thing out of 6 helps. Stacy is my favorite, shes a acupuncturist & human like the rest of us but a super human while also being a ND & a great socialist. Chris tucker fits right in to this worthy place to help facilitate healing body mind. If anyone bad mouths this place is because they dont have the knowledge or they are use to bad intentions. These people truly are humble humans & love you. Just laugh with them & stop being timid. Youll see!! Sara at the front desk really works hard for her $ & she too is very human. I say this because this group isnt like your teachers in school when you were surprised to see them at the groc store. They have big hearts & deserve more respect then those other reviews. They are worth knowing a bit. They actually know what they are doing. Well enough to explain it in laymens terms.

Finally found a compassionate Dr. who actually listened to me and got me what I had been asking for more than 5 years. Thanks so much to Dr. Suki, Dr. Lizz, Dr. Melanie and everyone there who have been so kind and understanding and not treating me like some broken, worthless human that so many other Drs have treated me when I tell the story behind my injuries both physical and emotional. I had been suffering so long I was losing hope. I was beginning to think I was going to die cold, broken and alone. Now I feel like I have a future and that I can begin moving towards neuro-surgeries on my entire neck and spine and begin to heal, mind body and spirit. Great listeners and helpers in my hour of greatest need. Looking forward to starting acupuncture as well. Thank you all and Blessings to you all

Ive never liked a clinic or felt such confidence in the care of one of its doctors before. I swear the main receptionist has an almost creepy eidetic recall of her patients, appointments are usually available now or soon, the lobby waits are seldom long, the main nurse is amazing with blood draws, and at least one of the doctors is hella competent and cool (ND Grasso), and...well, never mind the lame music (what do I know? Im a GWAR fan). This is my 5th clinic in the area; Im so glad I found one that was finally worth a damn! (Ill try to make my appointments. Sorry.)

I have worked with Dr Grasso, Dr Guggino, Dr Esteves and Dr Howell for my own health in various matters over the last year but as a practitioner I have also referred several of my own patients to their care. Every single visit with each of them has been an excellent experience; they are obviously invested in my health on a personal level and are so easy to work with. They are superb practitioners and I have no reservations in recommending every single one of them as shinning examples of what a practitioner in their fields can be.

Ive gotten the run around about my injuries for years. Multiple misdiagnosis and faxes that simply dont show up to specialists. The one good thing I can say is that they get me in quick to completely disappoint me! From being put on steroids to seeing therapy after being put on steroids. To canceling my surgery and never calling to tell me about it. Oh and there was the whole giving a patient thats in enough pain that hes suicidal/ homicidal, drugs that state on the label that they make people suicidal?!

I walked in with 2 friends to check out the center today Aug 28, 2013, around 4 pm. We walked up to the desk and a woman was on the phone and she seemed angry. She stayed on the phone for another 7-8 minutes without acknowledging that anyone walked into the clinic. Another woman walked out of a treatment room and again, no hello, no can I help you. We were potential clients but after 8-9 minutes we turned around and walked out.

when they are good, theyre great, much better than most clinics. They are very helpful, conscientious and friendly. some services it takes 2 months to get on the calendar which is maybe typical? but they dont always return calls, even when repeated a dozen times over a month which is unforgivable. the acupuncturist rarely removes all the needles which Ive never seen happen elsewhere so poorly & consistently.

Not too sure about the services provided seeing as I have been given false information regarding care and insurance. Have been very patient for two weeks trying to set up appointment to no avail. Hopefully others have a smoother experience andoing are able to recieve needed care. Receptionists have been the worse I have experienced

Wow. A night and day difference between my experiences with clinics in Portland. The staff are excellent, the appointments are flexible, and I was able to get all my questions answered. The integrated health approach means Im working with three experts for my particular issues, and they all work together for my treatment plan.

Dr. Howell is fine but follow up is terrible! I had to call 4 times to get test results, my calls were never returned. My sons test results were supposed to be emailed to me but never were. The receptionist rarely answers the phone so it is hard to make an appointment.

Called multiple times to obtain lab results and they would not provide them to me nor would the fax them to me as requested. They did not tell me that the provider with whom I scheduled a new patient appointment would be leaving the practice.
