I have had some not great dentists, hygienist, and dental experiences; however they was definitely not the case at Dr. Sherrards office!! Probably my best dental experience. Im some one who had terrible dental anxiety, but after 3+ years of not seeing a dentist becuase of this I thought it was time to find one that I would like and would understand my anxieties. I found Dr. Sherrard doing a Google search for good dentists for anxiety in Portland. Im so happy that I decided to give them a try! When I made my first appointment, I was upfront about my anxiety and they (especially Angel) were genuinely compassionate towards me and made me feel so much better about my visit. My first visit with Dr. Sherrard was great, while still nervous, he sat down and had a conversation about my health and teeth, that made me feel like he cares for each patient. The follow up appointment for my cavity fillings was one of the best I have had (as far as dental work goes LOL). The hygienist, Shanna, was the best I have had. She did what needed to be done, but didnt make me feel bad that my teeth werent perfect. I will be going back for all my dental needs becuase of their great care and compassion for their patients!! If you have been putting off going to the dentist like me becuase of anxiety, or are just looking for a great new dentist give Dr. Sherrards practice a try! :-)

As a dental-phobic person new to the Portland area I was faced with finding a new dentist. I reviewed my insurances preferred dentist list and then went shopping online. So glad I found Dr. Sherrard and his professional and friendly staff! I ended up needing a crown and a filling because I had not been to the dentist in 4 years. Truly, the best dental experience of my life. Quiet rooms with pleasant music, friendly, kind people and a pain-free experience. I almost fell asleep a couple of times. Dr. Sherrard let me watch him CAD design my crown on his computer. His dental hygenist is great, too. Another thing to appreciate about this office is that is it provides one-stop dental shopping. Dr. Sherrad not only makes his own crowns in house so there is no second trip, but he also does root canals and other procedures. Ill never need to go any where else. It is obvious that he is continually learning and updating his skills and equipment. This may seem silly, but hes also young enough that Ill never need to find another dentist! Im a client for life.

My experience at Dr. Sherards clinic has always been terrific! Starting with the positive, smiling greetings in the front of the office. Angel is a positive energy that puts you at ease immediately, and knowledgeable about all the services provided. Shanna their beautiful, friendly Hygienist who has been with them for many years as well, and has 17 years of experience which puts anyone in her chair at ease. Then you get the Doc himself, who is very personable, experienced, and committed to giving the best product possible. In the end you get a great product, at an affordable cost. Too many Dental clinics are happy to provide services you DONT need, and charge you a hefty fee. You will not experience this with Dr. Sherards clinic.

I would highly recommend Dr Sherards practice. He truly is a great dentist! Our family has received the utmost care for all of our dental needs. My young children enjoy going to the dentist and each had a very positive first experience with Dr. Sherard, I was grateful as the visit encouraged the importance of caring for their teeth and was fun for them without being the least bit scary. Dr. Sherards office has top of the line dental equipment and they let you know what they are doing and why. Everyone in the office is professional, kind, friendly, funny, and above all great at what they do. Dont miss an opportunity to make an appointment and find out for yourself. Your smile afterwards will be worth it!

I have been going to Dr. Sherrard since he started his dental practice. Today, his office is digitally set up for xrays, dental records, and all the advanced equipment that takes the pain and delays out of dental work. Its a family friendly environment and Dr. Sherrard does excellent work in filling cavities, repairing chipped or broken teeth, or replacing teeth. He was able to replace my wifes broken crown on the same day of her appointment. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Sherrard.

I have known Dr. Sherrard since he first practiced dentistry at this location. He has treated every member of my extended family with great skill and professionalism and all of our mouths are healthy as can be. His fees are fair (actually a bit low). I cant review his office without mentioning Angel, who runs the front office with grace, wit and compassion. I feel lucky to have Dr. Sherrard as my doctor -- and you will too.

Dr. Sherrard has been my dentist ever since he took over the practice of Dr. DeCarrico (and Ive already forgotten how many years ago!). He and his team have provided outstanding service all this time and continue to do so. Their "bedside manner" puts me at my ease every time I visit, so much so that I never feel anxious about my coming by for any sort of treatment. I recommend Dr. Sherrard to anyone who needs dental care!

Ive been going to Dr Sherrards office for a little over 15 years and I have been extremely happy. Its actually fun to go to the dentist. The staff and Dr. Sherrard are so happy and kind. I have been going to Dr. Sherrard since 2000. If you are considering him as your dentist, "Go!" This is a no-brainer decision. He is patient and has helped this nervous nelly for 13 years. I go every 6 months and feel safe. He keeps up-to-date on best practices and really seems to like what he does! Passion for dentistry, go figure.

Dr. Sherrard and the entire team is great to work with. They are all great people and make you feel very welcomed the 1st time that you come in. You are never pressured into having more work done than needed like the previous dentist that I had. I would recommend this team for all future dentist work for anyone!

I recently had a front tooth recapped at Patricks. When I went home I showed my wife the results. I asked which tooth did he replace? She picked a natural tooth. The match of the tooth was so close it looked better than the natural teeth surrounding it. What more can I ask for? Robo
