The ONLY reason I started going there was because they had "sedation" and I hate the dentist. I had a great dentist before, but he didnt have sedation. I hadnt gone in a long time and I believe because of that, they stamped my chart to claim I had periodontal disease and insist I needed my gums scraped. They said it was because I smoked. I had to practically beg to have the hygienist semi-clean my teeth, which was done half-assed. I also had some X-rays, too. That cost me over $350. My insurance covers yearly visits for a cleaning and X-rays. Hmmmm. Today I went back. No parking and every person that came in after me was called in before me , so I sat until there were no more people left to call. I quit smoking right after the last visit (2 months). The hygienist insisted I still needed to have my gums scraped without even looking in my mouth. The least she could have done is looked. Then, she had the audacity to say, " I worked through my lunch last time" So, why was I scheduled right before her lunch, knowing I scheduled the appt. for a cleaning? Its because they had already marked me (because of the time between visits) for a $3,000. scrape job! Instead of saying we will check if there has been any change, the hygienist still insisted I have my gums scraped. I asked if I could get my teeth actually cleaned this time. Her response? "We dont clean the teeth of people with periodontal disease." Really? Oh, and NONE of the hygienists or receptionists that were there before were there now. Another hmmmm moment. I never saw the dentist either time, not even in passing. Since when does the hygienist have the final say over the dentist?

This review is for Lisa. She has been my hygienist for nearly 10 years. She has worked hard on turning someone who had medium dental awareness to a person who works very hard at it after seeing the rewards. I now floss, use a sonicare toothbrush and watched my teeth and gums do a complete 180 in terms of appearance and health. Coming to the dentist is not usually something most people look forward to, but not me. It is always a pleasant experience and I enjoy Lisas sense of humor. On our last visit, she boasted about a new dental instrument and the results were amazing. My teeth looked a lot better and she worked up as sweat getting them to that point. It was actually fun to watch her work. My next appointment is in about 6 months and I will look forward to hearing about her shore house pursuits and just seeing her again to catch up.

I highly recommend Lisa as your dental hygienist. Each visit you are greeted with a big smile and/or a hug. She asks about your life since your last visit and truly cares and listens to your feedback. Not only is she a caring, kind and witty person she is fantastic at her job! Always asks if you are comfortable while she is cleaning your teeth with her very gentle but thorough manner. I always want a special way for her to polish my teeth and she NEVER needs to be reminded of my request. I always hate to eat or drink anything after Lisas cleanings because my teeth look so white and feel so clean. Two big thumbs up for Lisa!!!!

I cant tell you how happy I am to have finally found a dental practice that takes so much concern for their patients needs and for making each appointment comfortable and stress free. Lisa is amazing!! Her chair side manner is impeccable. I look forward to seeing her everytime!! Robin is awesome as well, and will go over and above if there is ever a problem or question regarding costs for treatment. Dr. McGorty is also fantastic and makes for a pain free visit. Im just so thrilled with your practice. Had to write.......thanks again!!!!

Both Dr Ford & Lisa (hygienist) are excellent assets to NPDA. Dr Ford is a wonderful dentist. She is very patient, always puts me at ease & does excellent work. I typically have a problem every year & know I can trust her to fix my teeth. Lisa is a great hygienist. She is very gentle, patient with my dental anxieties & still gets my teeth super clean. Shes very thorough & gives great tips on brushing & flossing. Shes definitely the best hygienist Ive been to. Highly recommend both Dr Ford & Hygienist Lisa!!

From the time you walk in the door until you leave you see and feel the quality of this group of people. I sat in the waiting room for my son to have a deep clean on his teeth and observed Robin and the other front end staff help customers in the waiting room and phone with the utmost care and respect. Entering the dental operations part I saw a clean, bright and very well maintained offices. The staff of doctor and support staff always amaze me. I would recommend anyone to use this office for all dental needs

I thought I would never say "I dont mind going to the dentist". From the time you enter the office until you leave the staff is always smiling and friendly. Lisa, the dental hygienist is fantastic. Extremely friendly and reassuring. She is methodical and caring. Always asking how I am doing? Very easy to talk to. Although I have been coming to this office for only 3 years it is like I have known Lisa for 20 years. The same holds true for Dr. McGorty. A great and thorough dentist.

Every 6 months I go in for a cleaning, and every 6 months I have the pleasure of being greeted by Lisa. She is a wonderful person, and great at her job. She cares about her patients on a level I have not experienced anywhere else. She remembers details about myself that I share, holds meaningful conversations with me, and makes each visit extremely enjoyable. I continue to return to North Penn Dental Arts because of her hard work and warm smile.

After having not been to the dentist for quite some time I came to this practice very fearful of getting a cleaning. Lisa has since squashed those fears into oblivion! I have no more fears coming to the dentist because I know that Lisa will take care of me every time. Robin always fits my appointments into my schedule and is a bright spot in my day every time I get to speak to her. I cannot recommend this practice (or these ladies) enough!

North Penn Dental Arts is excellent! My teeth are very sensitive; yet I felt no pain while my teeth were being cleaned. The staff tries very hard to provide a very minimal to pain-free experience for the patient. The staff is wonderful. Everyone is courteous and respectful. This helps to provide a pleasant atmosphere. The dental work is outstanding. I highly recommend North Penn Dental Arts for your dental needs.
