My exercise of choice is riding a bicycle. A few years ago I had a bike accident and threw out my lower back. I began seeing a everyday garden variety chiropractor for treatment of my lower back. After seeing him a two to three of times a week for approximately a year my lower back had improved but during a visit I happened to mention I had some discomfort at the base of my skull on the left side. The doctor said, “I know exactly what it is, your atlas needs adjusting. I have a special way to adjust the atlas.” Here begins my horror story. He used his “special method” to adjust my atlas. Fifteen hours later, ever thing was spinning and I couldn’t stand up. I couldn’t eat because of nausea. I began seeing a different chiropractor for another year but other symptoms showed up; loss of memory, inability to concentrate, inability to speak and carry on normal conversations. As a pastor, I became unable to do my job. I became desperate for relief; my life had been turned upside down. Then I heard about a specialized method of chiropractic called “atlas orthogonal”. I began to seek a doctor of chiropractic who used the atlas orthogonal treatment exclusively. My search led me to Dr. Wentworth. I set up an appointment. His evaluation process was like nothing I had ever experienced. All of his equipment is ultra-modern, cutting edge technology; digital x-rays, computerized spinal measuring and mapping. He and his whole staff were kind, professional and understanding of my plight. He spent as much time as necessary to explain so that I could understand the problem and the needed treatment. He told me he wanted me to enter a treatment plan and he estimated it would take approximately 45 visits to correct my problem (this can’t be done with a quick fix). The cost was $100.00 per visit for this high tech treatment program. After spending 2 years being treated 2-3 times a week at $35.00 per visit with no results, I thought the treatment plan sounded pretty good. There was no pressure to enter the program, no sales pitch; just information referencing the digital x-rays and the treatment needed to correct the obvious problem. He told me to think about it. I told him I didn’t need to think about it; I needed relief. I wanted my life back. The great news is we started that day. My health progressively improved from visit to visit and Dr. Wentworth always encouraged me by continuing to tell me, “You’re better than you think you are”. It didn’t take 45 visits to fix my atlas problem. I’ve gotten my life back! I didn’t have the money so I used a payment plan, but to have your life back, cost should not be an issue. It is the best money I ever spent in my life! Dr. Wentworth is the most, caring, dedicated doctor who has ever treated me. I am so thankful!

I have suffered with lower back pain for the past 25 years as a result of several accidents. Traditional medicine recommendations have been to take pain medication and wear a custom fit "girdle" to support the back. Lower back pain had recently migrated to cover most of my back and neck area now. I was constantly taking pain medicine just to make it through the day. I have currently had 6 treatments with Dr. Wentworth and Dr. Hammond and the results are amazing! Their advanced knowledge in this method of treatment is amazing. My treatment will take a while but the whole idea of the program is to retrain my body to work the way it was designed to, and this takes being consistent with my recommended schedule of treatment. But every day I leave pain free which is something I have not felt in 25 years. I no longer reach for the bottle of ibuprofen every few hours. My husband has been in treatment for about 5 weeks now and he is completely pain free now from chronic knee pain. If you have any form of pain or other medical issue, it is well worth your time to investigate the treatment that Advanced Chiropractic offers. It is nothing like any other form of chiropractic treatment I have ever had. Very gentle form of treatment. I feel like I have been given my life back. I am a dentist in Greenville and have been referring my patients to Dr. Wentworth for TMJ pain for over 10 years. He has alleviated the jaw pain for every patient who I have referred without fail. I like the gentle technique that he uses. He does not use the "rack and crack" technique as I call it. He uses a technique which gently aligns the spine and corrects the jaw and back pain in his patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Wentworths myself for different problems. He kept my back in perfect order while I was pregnant and I have not had a headache in years! I cannot recommend Advanced Chiropractic more whole heartedly. My patients love how caring the doctors and staff are at Advanced Chiropractic. Dr. Wentworth and Dr. Hammond can correct a multitude of problems that you would never think to mention. I have collegues who refer to them as well. I also know of several MDs who refer their patients and families to him as well for everything from chronic itching (from a Dermatologist) to Braxton Hicks contractions (from an Ob/Gyn). My children have also been to Dr. Wentworth after a car accident in which they were both suffering from headaches and backaches. Their problems were corrected AMAZINGLY fast! There is no better Chiropractic office in the south! Just go...the results speak for themselves!

When I originally started seeing Dr. Wentworth, I was in so much pain. I couldnt sleep at night, lay on my back, sharp pains running down the back of my leg, cramps in my upper & lower back. Neck pain, headaches and shoulder pain. My knees would even pop going up stairs, I also had a slight limp. Ive been seeing him for 3 months and my treatment plan is almost over. I cant believe how much better I feel!!! I didnt think it was possible. And everyone is so friendly!! By far one of the best overall experiences Ive had with a medical practice. Dr. Wentworth & Dr. Green have been awesome to work with. I had a major operation on my shoulder in 2000. Ive suffered with pain from that shoulder for years. The accident reaggravated it. Dr. Wentworth not only assisted with my injuries from the automobile accident, but he worked on my shoulder as well!!! I havent felt this good in a very long time!!! He was really focused on getting me pain free instead of just seeing me for the money. He cares about his patients and I would recommend his office to anyone whom is in chronic pain!!

When I met Dr. Wentworth I was desperate for some type of pain relief for my lower back. Ive suffered since I was 13 and would constantly throw my back out and not be able to move without extreme pain for weeks. I tried everything from mediciation, physical therapy, and even chiropractic help. The chiropractor I went to didnt listen and I was in so much pain that cracking me in every which way made it worse. Thats why I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Wentworth a "gentle chiropractor". It was the best decision I ever made. After going through the treatment plan which is pretty intensive for the first couple months I am completely pain and issue free. I now go about 2x a year just to make sure everything is in place so I can stay pain free. Dr. Wentworth listens and wont let you leave the office until you feel better. The girls that work in the office are extremely sweet and helpful too. Another bonus that I enjoy is that every visit ends in an amazing therapy session where you get a nice little back massage. I highly recommend Advanced Chiropractic.
