I found the staff to be pleasant and quite helpful. Dr. Licari clearly knows her stuff and has an easy-going way of explaining issues and their solutions. Im a big fan of upper cervical care and I believe Dr. Licari and her staff will be able to help a large number of people through their office. However, Im disappointed on two fronts. The first is that the handheld Laney instrument (the device used to gently nudge the atlas bone back into place, named after the inventor, Dr. Laney) seems less precise to me than the more modern table-mounted adjustment device. Ive been receiving upper cervical adjustments for almost two decades and the table-mounted device has, in my experience, produced accurate adjustments with the first "tap", while the use of the handheld device seems to be to nudge the bone into place with a tap-tap-tap, then check the alignment and tap some more. I will be continuing my search for a chiropractor who uses the table approach, although I admit they are few and far between. The second issue for me was the reluctance to recognize that this is not my first rodeo. The insistence that I sit through a 45 minute "orientation" allowed no flexibility for the situation of a patient thoroughly familiar with upper cervical care already. This is probably a fine approach for people who are new to this form of chiropracty but it is inappropriate for me. In a more general sense, Im not comfortable with a medical professional who appears to disregard 18 years of patient experience and projects a "my way or the highway" attitude. I chose the highway. Your mileage may vary (pun intended). I appreciate that they were willing to work around my chaotic travel schedule (I travel a lot for business). They did seem reluctant to schedule an appointment later than 4pm though, even though they claim office hours run through 6pm. I believe they budget an hour for each appointment and then the doctor uses the last hour to review X-rays taken during the day (this is typical for chiropractors). Perhaps office hours should be advertised as running through 5pm instead? As I said above, I found the staff to be quite personable and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this office in general, but for me they werent a good fit.

I have been to six chiropractors in my life, including Dr. Licari. In every way, Dr. Licari is by far the best chiropractor I have ever been to. Timeliness--they are by far the most punctual and timely of all the chiropractors Ive seen. Im sure Im not the only person in the world who has waited a long time for the chiropractor even though I had an appointment. That will never happen with Dr. Licari. Very well managed office. Information--She explains thing very thoroughly and in a way that a young child could understand. Gentleness--She is very gentle, and uses cutting edge techniques that never hurt you or cause you any pain. Helpful--They have gone the extra mile, in ways you wouldnt even believe if I told you, to help my family and accomodate us for various quirky needs we have. Friendliness--they are SUPER friendly! Results--I have been struggling with debilitating back pain for almost 10 years. I am currently experiencing a strength and flexibility in my neck and back that I have not experienced in a LONG time...and Im PAIN FREE!!!! Above and beyond--How many chiropractors call you at home to see how you are doing? Yeah, thats right...none...except Dr. Licari! She has called us multiple times to check on us, ask questions about how our adjustment was feeling, etc. I never even imagined such service in the chiropractic industry existed! I GUARANTEE you that if you give Dr. Licari a try, you will never go back--either to your old chiropractor or to your painful life! Frederic Gray ****What I am writing now is an update, after seeing Dr. Licari for three years. I have seen her hire three different office employees over those three years. The reason that is noteworthy is because those three employees, along with the employees she had when I started being treated by her, all treat me with the same courtesy, professionalism, and kindness that is the norm at Licari Family Chriopractic. So, in every way, even in ways that are often overlooked in medical offices, the Licari team are simply a class act!

At 64 years old after several surgeries I had pretty much given up on my health. I have many issues that had taken over my life...but that all changed after finding Dr Licari! After 5 months of adjustments and treatments my body has responded unbelievably! UPDATE 5-8-17 Are you in constant pain or discomfort and feel like your life is over as you once remembered it? Well let me update you on my personal medical concerns since my last Licari Family Chiropractic post approximately 7 months ago..I feel so good I cant even believe it! I have eliminated my 3200 mg ibuprofen regiment from my daily life, I cant remember the last time I took a dose! My vertigo has diminished completely and my ENT says my Progressive Meneres Disease has ceased! Plus, I have been able to decrease my diabetes medication in half and intend on beating diabetes completely in the near future! It sure helps a person when you feel good and want to get more exercise! Ive walked 3 to 5 times a week for the past 5 years but I can say, I finally feel like I have control of my health and can now enjoy my accomplishments! I owe this first to myself for committing to Upper Cervical Chiropractic and of course the healing hands of Dr Licari and her staff! This past year has been an amazing healing process for me and I want everyone to know thats reading this testimonial, I think if you have medical problems, spinal issues, or any daily life discomforts dont put off getting yourself healthy! For me, I will continue to take care of myself as prescribed by Dr Licari! My experience with Dr. Licari has been completely AMAZING! For the last 3 years I have been suffering from terrible lower back and hip pain due to an injury I got from falling in the bathtub. When I came to Dr. Licari I did so because I was 12 weeks pregnant, my back pain had gotten worst, and I was now experiencing neck, shoulder and rib pain. In addition, I had suffered from migraines since I was very young. When I began the treatment with Dr. Licari I immediately felt the relief. Even though the pain was not completely gone, I could feel how everyday the pain was decreasing in how often I felt it as well as its intensity. Slowly but surely I started to feel less and less pain and even though I am now 29 weeks pregnant I feel way more healthier than I felt when I walked into Dr. Licaris office around two months ago. One day I came in for a visit after getting a cold over the weekend and that days adjustment made my congestion decrease a lot. Every time I have appointments with her I look forward to feeling my blood flow all over my body faster and better than it did a day before. Her adjustments can be said to give you LIFE and that is something we are all looking for when seeking to live healthier. In addition her staff is super friendly, sweet and helpful and they are always able to work with you. Ive had to make many schedule changes due to my work and they are always able to reschedule me to my convenience. I recommend Dr. Licari Services to everyone, even if no ailments are affecting that person. I cant wait for my baby to be born so Dr. Licari takes care of him or her also. I know shell do a great job!
