If you are looking for only the BEST care for your pet, look no further- Pet Vet, and specifically Dr. Mays, wont disappoint Hes very scientific and seeks solutions to complicated issues, yet he has excellent bedside manner which is not often accompanying such a scientific mind! His genuine LOVE of animals is evident. I called Pet Vet on a holiday weekend, 20 mins prior to close. Our Yorkie was at a SOUTH FRANKLIN vet prior, who told us there was no hope and went on to discuss various euthanasia options- all the way up to the expensive killing procedures. She had a wall of fame with euthanized pets that was the wall of pride. Our dog had energy and a will to live, albeit a huge tumor on her leg. The S Franklin vet said if our Yorkie was younger, taking off her leg would be an option, but in her situation only death. Thats when I reached out to Dr Mays. He wasnt afraid to address the issues. He removed the tumor, & has invested blood, sweat, and tears right along with us. Shes doing MUCH better!!! Dr. Mays is short for " Dr. Amazing". Hes nothing short of a miracle worker. Shout out to Kathy- the receptionist that day. She couldve EASILY said it was closing time and they wanted to enjoy their holiday weekend. Instead, she lovingly & caringly tended to us and could sense our fear, pain, & heartache. She said she asked all the doctors if anyone wanted to stay late and see our little broken angel who couldnt fly, and Dr. Amazing volunteered. He didnt charge overage charges or gouge us- in fact, hes been nothing short of a miracle. In all- after all the stays, meds, etc etc etc- less than the euthanasia. This place is the first and last to call... you will find MIRACLES happening here!

We started taking our cat, Sugar, to Dr. Butler 15 years ago, back when they were behind Grassland Shell. He and his team de-clawed her, spayed her, and kept up with her yearly check ups. Then we added a sweet Maltese, Muffin, to the family. Dr.Butler cleaned his teeth and always took excellent care of our scared little fur ball. When Sugar and Muffin passed away, Pet Vet sent us hand written notes of their condolences. Now, my 2 King Charless and Golden retriever are loved by Pet Vet just as much as my original two. We have followed Pet Vet to three locations, watched them add more staff, and more square footage. Many people would think that their growth would change their love and care for our pets, but not once have I felt like my fur babies were not under the best care. We love you Pet Vet team!

Dr. Butler you are the best. Morgan, my cat had an infected eye with a tooth issue. She was not in good shape plus her 15 year old age was a concern for all of us. Dr. Butler took a good look at her and said "She needs surgery on the tooth and will need to stay here for a few days.". I have been taking my family of animals to him for years and trust his judgement. Morgan did fine throughout the process and came back stronger, in better health and took her place once again as Queen of the home. Thank you Dr. Butler and staff. Never, never going anywhere else.

Dr. Butler is very soothing to my anxious dog. She tends to be very nervous around strangers but is completely calm with Dr. Butler and almost melts into his arms. The staff are very friendly and take a lot of time to answer your questions. The office is very clean and brightly decorated. Would recommend them highly.

Staff is always so nice and they take great care of all of our dogs. We drive 45min to get here because they are so good. We have Great Danes and small dogs and they are fantastic with all of them.
