Probably a good vet, but not affordable to the average person.. My daughter took her dog for some shots and they said the dog needed a teeth cleaning and maybe pull 2 teeth. We made the appointment after being told the procedure was about $297 plus the cost of pulling 2 teeth. The day of the procedure the dog was dropped off to have the work done. About 2 hrs later my daughter received a fone call saying that the procedure would now cost $1000 dollars. I think thats more than nickel and diming someone. They should not have given the original fee of $297 plus pull 2 teeth after their initial exam. They are now charging 3X of what was expected by my daughter for the cleaning. There is something wrong with this picture. Dr. Paula may be a very good Dr. but maybe she needs to work in the Hollywood area not in small time Franklin where the average pet owner cant afford these prices.

Im not sure what to think of this vet. On one hand, Dr. Paula is very personable and clearly knows her stuff, and Im sure she cares a lot about the animals. The red flags I keep getting are that I am almost always advised to get some sort of expensive test done when I am there for one of my animals. Also, I am advised that pets need 2 dental cleanings a year and 2 physicals. I dont even have 2 physicals a year myself! Seems like overkill. I have been there about 5 times, and it always weirds me out that every time I have been the only customer in the whole office. The only one--every time. Where are the other customers? Is this office desperate for business so it gouges you? I dont know. Like I said, I have no doubt that Dr. Paula gives great care, I just feel like I am being nickeled and dimed. Currently looking for a new vet.

Dr. Paula and the staff at Animal Ark are exceptional. I have never been to a vet who cares more, or will take more time with her clients as Dr. Paula. I take my two senior pugs there, who have lots of health issues, and I always know Dr. Paula will give it to me straight and do everything she can for them. It is true that my bills are a little higher since going to Animal Ark, but it is worth it for the service and care we have received there. I will be a loyal customer forever.

Paula Schuerer of Animal Ark Animal Hospital is the best you can find. Look no further. She has cared for my pets for ten years through thick and thin, with far more expertise, kindness, wit and honesty than Ive found anywhere. She is quick to call on a specialist for second evaluation if needed, and when it comes to expensive testing, lays out all the options and lets the client come to their own choice. Generous, truly caring, loves her patients.

My two dogs received excellent care at Dr. Paulas office, but I almost passed out when we were ready to check out and they gave us the total for my two dogs to have routine checkups and vaccinations. I know vaccines are expensive, but Ive never paid this much before for them anywhere!! I work as a nurse practitioner, and I dont make as much per patient as she makes per dog!! Geez! Weve found a more reasonably priced vet to take care of our needs.

Dr. Paula is awesome. She has taken care of several of our fur babies and has always done an excellent job. I love the way she mixes humor while treating your pet. She also has such a tender way of delivering painful news and helping you through that process. I can not express how much I love and respect Dr. Paula.

Had a very good experience with Dr. Paula and her staff recently. I have been trying to find a good, trustworthy vet for my cats since moving to the area not too long ago. I was referred to Animal Ark from another vet (that was booked that day) and I couldnt be happier. Highly recommend!

Great care for our dog. Its expensive, but getting a pet, in my experience has always been expensive. I love that it isnt a huge practice and they know you. Dr. Paula is very knowledgeable and Im quite comfortable with the level of care we receive here.
