Two seperate awful experiences. First: Appointment time is 3 pm, arrive 2:45 (per office request to complete paperwork. I started working on stuff for work, looked up because I felt like it had been a long time.... Hell ya, I was still sitting in the waiting room at 4:10! Told the receptionist that I was leaving and rescheduled for an AM appointment. Second: Arrive for appointment on-time at 9:40, sat in waiting room for 15 minutes with my children. I sat in this office until noon. They had one dentist and ONE staff member that would do cleanings. The office staff is GHETTO! Tattoos and dirty fingernails. The receptionist wasnt able to put together a proper sentence. This place is AWFUL! The are constantly slow, make you wait forever, the office is old/out dated, the x-ray machine is older than my children. DO NOT GO HERE. I made an appointment with my old dentist 12 hours away during the Christmas holiday. BAD, BAD, BAD

This is specifically about Dr Rhodes. Shes a young dentist and not skilled at all in crowns. Actually, she had very little to do with the crown other than grinding the tooth. The rest she left up to her assistants. Both crowns were ill fitting and poorly made. Someone mentioned the over use of Novocaine, I found this to be the case as well. Her inexperience alone did not prompt me to write this review, she has a poor attitude and tried to "scare" me into letting her do my last crown. Thats never going to happen. I had a third crown done by my dentist in CA. Not only did he handle the entire process himself. How he went about it was totally different and the resulting crown was MUCH better than the two this office did. I had other problems with Dr Rhodes that I wont go into here. Id advise to stay away from this place. This was a painful and annoying experience. Ill never go there again.

This place says you have tons of things wrong with your teeth so that they get more money for all the work they do on your teeth. The first time I went they said I had 5 cavities, so I got them filled. Six months later they told me I had 5 more cavities and needed 6 sealants. I was very suspicious about this so I went to a private practice dentist to get a second opinion and he said that I only had 1 filling needed that that was because it was leaking. It was probably the filling Carus Dental did 6 months earlier so they could charge me to redue it! Do not go to this dentist!

I am always treated with courtesy and professionalism by the entire staff at Carus. The wait time is almost nonexistent, but I never feel rushed. The hygienist even brought a condition to the attention of the dentist resulting in a diagnosis by a periodontal specialist. The Carus staff have restored my ability to look forward to dental visits.

I recently had a filling done a couple months ago and the Dentist did a great job, she got it right the first time! Last week I went for my quarterly cleaning with Kristine and she did a great job, as always. I also had sealants put on two molars for extra protection. I would highly recommended Carus Dental in Kingwood!

I love Dr.Bates, best dentist Ive ever had, I have had all 4 wisdom teeth removed, 6 fillings all at a very reasonable price, total for all work was less than 900.00. Highly Highly recommended.
