Went there for my first cleaning since I have been in the area, and they were great! Explained to me exactly what needed to be done, and why. Showed me the x-rays and pictures, explained what I was looking at, and what was important so I could make an informed decision. Went to them last week to have an erupted tooth extracted / have a bone graft done, and it went flawlessly. Was done in under 2 hours, and let me just say I did not know how much pain the old tooth was causing. 4 days out from the procedure, and it does not even hurt anymore, Dr. Palaez did an awesome job, and I am not afraid to go there ( a first for me and dentists). Absolutely recommend them, if you are new to the area, or looking for a new dentist, they are absolutely amazing! edit: I feel like I should add that they never tried to "sell" me anything. Every dentist I have ever been to has tried to sell me on something like whitening, or this or that. This was straight up "this is what you need, and why", no trickery, and they gave me all of the options.

Dr. Palaez is the best dentist I have had so far. Not only is he thorough, but he goes out of his way to be personable, explain things very easily, and he remembers every detail of my situation. After a second visit six months subsequent to the first, he remembered my wifes name, where I worked, and where I was from. He not only is a great dentist; he has a top of the line facility that is clean, professional, and great about sending me reminders regarding my check ups. Leslie and the administrative staff raise the bar when it comes to providing a smooth dental experience. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a better dentist.

First let me say that I went somewhere else a year ago I couldnt go back because I was embarrassed by the services. Going to DENTISTRY OF VIRGINIA BEACH was a great decision. I am happy I went there, my teeth have never felt better. The staff is very friendly and well educated. They made me feel welcome and I thank them for their great services. Kornikoff wanted to charge me $400 on top of my insurance and they wanted to stretch it out into 3 different appointments. DENTISTRY OF VIRGINIA BEACH got it done in one hour with no extra charge. A little over a year ago I had a dental emergency and needed a dentist on a Sunday. After scouring the internet and making countless phone calls, Dr. Pelaez was the ONLY dentist to call me back. We have been going to him ever since and he is honestly one of the nicest people Ive ever met. He remembers everyone in our family and is always asking how were doing. I hate the dentist but his demeanor makes you trust him. The hygienists are always so friendly. We are patients for life!

This amazing staff never lets me down. I went in yesterday to get a tooth pulled and Dr. Pelaez made me super comfortable and made sure I was ready. I have had traumatic experiences in the past when it came to getting teeth pulled but I felt comfortable yesterday and didnt feel pain whatsoever. It was simple and easy. They walked me through the post op instructions and everything and made sure I was alright when leaving. I am so happy I have Dr. Pelaez as my dentist!
