Let me first start by saying that I neglected my teeth for many many years. I avoided smiling because I was embarrassed. I finally could bear the discomfort no longer and had to see a dentist. The first fella I went to made me feel like crap and I honestly just left the consultation completely disheartened. The next guy told me all my teeth needed to come out and I needed upper and lower full dentures. (Im only 42 years old). Finally, I was fortunate to find Dr. Rick Rubin. And thank God I did. From the minute I walked into the office, I was greeted by a friendly woman who made me feel welcome. The nurse who took my xrays was extremely polite as well. Dr.Rubin himself is a kind gentleman with an easy-going demeanor and a relaxing air about him. He spent the better part of an hour discussing my various treatment options with me. Suffice it to say, dentures were NOT my only option. Together we created a treatment plan involving a couple extractions, some root canal treatments, several dental implants, and bridges. I am almost done with my treatment and I can finally smile again. Ive found my dentist for the rest of my life!

I usually would never write a review for a family member. That being said, Rick has been our dentist every time we visit Williamsburg and we often consult him across the country several times per year. Hes done a wonderful job to say the least. Being in the medical field myself, Im very particular with the healthcare professionals I use for my immediate family and myself. Hes always empathetic and honest. Furthermore, as a anesthesia provider, I know how difficult it is to successfully block A nerve especially on an awake patient in the oral cavity. Hes never had a failed block for my family and weve never been in pain intraop. I wish I had someone with Ricks clinical expertise and bedside manner in my town. Give your family and yourself the care they deserve. Go see Dr Rubin.

I visited Williamsburg Family Dentistry knowing that I had some issues that I needed to take care of after years of avoiding the dentist. When I met with Rebecca and Dr. Dunnill I was quickly taken care of and we went over everything that needed to do and everything that I wanted done including extensive cosmetic bonding and whitening. In about a month I walked away with a brand new, pearly smile, that has completely changed my confidence level and life for that matter. Everyone I met at this office are incredibly sweet, personable, and amazing. From Dr Dunnill, to Rebecca his assistant, to Kelly my hygenist, to Anna and Shona at the front desk. I absolutely love going to the dentist and dentistry now; and it was all thanks to this amazing team.

Dr. Dunnill put my dental phobia at ease!!! When I first moved to Williamsburg, finding a good dentist was one of my top priorities. I was so relieved when I found Williamsburg Family Dentistry. Dr. Dunnill is an amazing dentist and treats his patients with great respect and professionalism. I normally have very high anxiety when it comes to dental work due to some very bad experiences with dentists in the past, however, Dr.Dunnill was quick to reassure me that I will be taken care of in the best way possible! I needed some dental work done and it was a very pleasant and painless experience. The whole staff is just wonderful and extremely friendly.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Rubin is incompentent. He provided a course of treatment that was totally unnecessary from sound dental practice. He merely seeks to line his pockets. coming form impecable dental care from providers who graduated NYU Dental School, University of Pennsylvania Dental School and Tufts Dental School I was unused to persons who would go out of business is they practiced in a more populated area of the country. He is dishonest and has failed to return the dental insurance for his incorrect dental work. He did refund the co payment since he screwed up the dental work. Run away from this unqualified dentist.

I have been Dr. Rubins patient for 2+ years now and I am supremely happy with the care I have received! I had not been to a dentist for almost two decades (shame on me) when neccesity forced me to go (a freinds reccomendation). Dr. Rubin quickly determined that I several dangerously infected areas in my jaw... He quickly and relatively painlessly removed the infected teeth and is now working on a handsome smile! Dr. Rubin and his staff have provided me with freindly, courteous and proffesional care. I would give them 10 stars if they would let me!

Great dental team, very professional! My appointment was scheduled for 1300 and I was seen at 1248. Friendly staff, Dr. Dunnill and Meghan took the time to ensure that all my questions were answered and I had a very positive dental experience. When we moved to the area, we searched for a dental practice that provided both family and cosmetic dentistry with the most up-to-date services, current equipment and diagnostic tools available to provide the best dental care and Williamsburg Family Dentistry has it all.

In moving around the country I have experienced more than half a dozen dentists. This is the best office I have seen, by far. I enjoyed Dr. Dunnills care, as well as that of the hygienists and staff, and am sorry to be moving out of the area. Their office is impressively modern, comfortable, and I felt like I got the best of care. (I was there for several visits including cleanings, a crown, and fillings). I would recommend them to my friends and family without reservation.

Dr. Rubin has been my dentist for five years now. His knowledge, wisdom, and skillful dentistry is above par. To no discredit to my past dentists, Dr. Rubin and his staff have proven to be the most talented and knowledgable to date. They are responsive to emergency needs too. Ascetically, the office is classy and clean. In terms of the rest of the staff, they are professional, kind and never seem put off by questions. I highly recommend Williamsburg Family Dentistry.

This is a great dental practice. The staff is very friendly, and Dr. Dunnill has strong interpersonal skills. He always explains what hes doing exactly, which can put one at ease. My appointments have always started on time; I have rarely ever had to wait. My only complaint I guess is that when your appointment is coming up you receive a barrage of phone and email reminders, but I guess too many reminders are better than none at all.

Williamsburg Family Dentistry and Dr. Rubin are great. They are always on time; I never have to wait. And yet when youre in the treatment room they never seem rushed. Dr. Rubin is thorough but gentle. They are not always trying to sell like another practice I went to before. The treatment recommendations are thoughtful and explained well. I would highly recommend them to any age patient.
