After a very long and painful weekend suffering from an absessed tooth...due to the loss of my filling..I made a desperate phone call to Dr. Lahars office that Monday morning. I did not have an appointment...nor had I ever been seen by him previously...they had me come in! Previously I had been diagnosed with TMJ and absolutely dread having dental work done. Dr. Lahar made my previous oral surgean seem nothing more than a barberic caveman! I knew though that the tooth needed to be extracted. Dr. Lahar took great precaution and had the utmost consideration with knowing that I suffer from TMJ! He used a ramp type piece that went between my top and bottom molers..this allowed me to keep my jaw relaxed but yet open at the same time. He then gave me headphones and some music and instead of just yanking out my tooth..he rocked it back and forth until he only had to pull it slightly. Dr. Lahar is not only a wonderful doctor, but he also has a great personality and compassion! His staff was equally terrific! There was no expense spared in the waiting room as it is beautiful and as clean as it can be! He is a rare find...and if you are unfortunate enough to need work done...then you will be lucky to have found him to do it!

We had used an alternate provider with considerable complications for my older daugther. After hearing so many positive things about Dr. Lahar, our youngest had her impacted wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Lahar and had minimal swelling (followed all instructions) and no complications, and minimal pain. The only down-side was I wish they would have allowed her to rest a bit longer after the surgery. Thanks Dr. Lahar!
