Ive been going to this practice for about 5 years now and have had nothing but good experiences, both with Dr. Goodman and Dr. Paper. Im guessing that the individuals who are writing these terrible reviews dont take care of their teeth and are just upset by the fact that dentistry can be expensive(especially without insurance). A good dentist is going to err on the side of keeping your teeth/gums healthy and try to improve your situation. I never once felt like I was being "compelled" to get something done. I think Dr. Paper does a great job of objectively explaining your situation and what the options/consequences are without in any way pressuring you. Furthermore, the staff working their are highly professional and curteous.

I just returned from an appointment with Dr. Paper and felt compelled to write a review because I was particularly pleased with the experience. Ive seen many well respected dentists over the years, yet no dentist Ive seen was as personable and frank as Dr. paper was with me today. Dr. Paper looked me in the eyes and spoke to me man-to-man with honesty and respect. He clearly explained the costs/benefits of the options I had available, was up front about the pricing and made it apparent that he was most interested in providing me with the best treatment available. I left the office feeling like a human being rather than a customer.

I have read other reviews that say the same thing that happened to me at this office. They told me my gums were horrible and I needed to come in for a second appointment and pay $120 out of pocket. This is after he somehow charged me $200 for a routing cleaning. After speaking with MULTIPLE people and reading MULTIPLE reviews. I found out that this is common practice for this dentist. I had just visited my previous dentist 6 months prior to this and he said nothing about coming back for a special cleaning. Beware, this dentist is after one thing and one thing only...your money!

As a long time patient of Dr. Goodman, I find "Josephs" review to be absurd. I was just there last month for my routine cleaning. As always, the office was immaculate. The entire office had a "makeover" just two years ago and is very modern, bright, and clean as a whistle. Dr. Goodmans staff are the most pleasant and professional health care providers you could hope for. Yes, Joseph, high quality dental care is not cheap. And Dr. Goodmans office consistently provides the highest standard of care. Thats what I want for me and my family.

I wonder if some of these people have visited a Dr. Goodman in a parallel universe. I have always found the office to be spotlessly clean, the staff to be friendly and easy to work with, and Dr. Joel to be extremely competent and pleasant to deal with. As for the x-ray procedures, last time in I asked about that and they are in the process of switching to digital vice the older film.

My appointment was awesome. Everyone was so friendly. Sarah my dental hygienist was great. Ive never had a more thorough cleaning. Dr. Paper was very straight forward and informative. So happy to have found this practice! Update 1/30/2017 Came back for a filling. Same great service and care! Highly recommend!

Excellent service and flexibility. Their staff is as friendly as they come. Great specialists, knowledgeable, and they bend over backwards to take care of me (and my teeth, of course). Couldnt be happier with Dr. Paper and his team. Highly recommend.
