I hurt my shoulder in January 2014. I could not reach across my body or behind me without great pain. I play in 3 softball leagues and when I went to my first practice in April I tried to throw and felt tremendous pain. I went to the Dr and was sent to physical therapy at another place. After 8 sessions I was not better and in July I was forced to discontinue with the PT due to an insurance change and I began at Healing Hands with Raksha Patel. I was very discouraged because i could not throw and did not seem to be getting better. Raksha promised me if I came twice a week and did the exercises she would get me throwing again. Immediately I began to see results I had not seen at my previous PT. My range in my arm began to improve steadily week after week. As I write this i am back playing softball and I can throw again and am throwing harder and harder every week with little or no pain. I am extremely grateful to Raksha Patel and her wonderful staff. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable and they deliver results and they are really good people as well. I highly recommend that if you need physical therapy you go to Healing Hands Physical Therapy Associates. She will work you hard but as I discovered at my previous PT who did not push me "No Pain No Gain. I am back playing softball and living pain free because of Rahsha Patel and her great team of professionals. I will tell everyone I know who suffers and needs PT to go to Healing Hands because because of the great care I received and the positive results I have achieved.

Recently I was visiting NJ for a conference. As soon as we got to NJ, my neck started hurting and within a day and locked up the next day. I was in terrible pain and couldnt move my neck. My wife took me to a local clinic and the doctor prescribed some medication and recommended I get Physical Therapy. In fact, he himself called the Healing Hands (HH) PT immediately and the HH took me right away. These people were extremely kind, understood my problem and started therapy right away. The therapist Ms. Raksha, was excellent and took good care and within three appointments my neck got a lot better so that I could get back home without any problems. The help I received was prompt (sorting out insurance coverage), efficient, and most importantly very effective: a dramatic decrease in pain after just two sessions.
