Today at 1:58 PM I am absolutely disgusted with this vets office. I moved and poured over finding a new vet. I found them and called them to tell them I had decided to use them. I gave them my basic information and my pets names. I called my old vet and asked (numerous times) to have my two pets files faxed over (they said they did, but this vets office kept saying they didnt have them) I eventually made an appointment for my dog (who doesnt like other dogs) and came in 15 minutes early. An emergency came in and no body informed me that my appointment was taken by the emergency. Instead while we waited outside in the cold (so my dog wouldnt bark like crazy at the other dogs) for an hour, they saw dog another dog after dog instead of mine. I asked them a couple times when she was going to be seen, they eventually told me then about the emergency. I waited another half hour out in the cold. Finally when I came in to tell them I couldnt wait any longer they finally said shell be seen next. I was extremely frustrated by the lack of communication or concern for a new patient. I decided to give them another chance, last week I came in to order my cats special food, they still didnt have his file so Tracy called my old vet and asked what food he was on and asked for the file to be faxed for him. She then said she would order it and it would be in by the end of the week. I had just enough food to last till today. I still hadnt heard from them so called today to find out when the food was coming. Tracy acted like she knew nothing about it, she acted like she never heard a thing didnt know who I was or what my pets name is. I was livid at her lack of accountability and expressed how irritating it was to be told one thing and then have another to to cover up an error. I went down there and was still extremely annoyed and yes I did raise my voice. The spineless Dr refused to come out and speak to me. Tracy said she told me theyd have to see my cat before they could order it. Then also said she could take the previous vets paperwork to order it. But my old vet didnt fax it over. The problem being she dropped the ball numerous times on getting the file, didnt follow up on the situation and left me thinking the entire time that she had ordered it when she never intended to. They were not at all interested in my concerns and lacked any accountability. They are slow, unprofessional and uncaring. Clearly they only care about the all mighty dollar and not your pets well being. I would NEVER take another pet to them if they were the last vet on earth. If you care about your pets, your time and your sanity (lol) dont waste your time or money on this terrible vet office. The vet is a spineless child who I have never even seen his face because he was too rude to even come out from his office and speak to me. Tracy was an obnoxious, rude and uninterested in taking any accountability. I know this is long, Im sorry, I just have never left a business feeling so completely disgusted and angry. And it wouldnt let me post without giving at least one star, but even that is too many for these idiots.

Dr. Kramer and the staff at Huntington Animal Hospital are wonderful. I have been with them for the last 10 years. As a mom of a Pug, I am always in there with eye emergencies. Dr. Kramer is always accommodating. As a mom of a English Staffordshire Terrier, I am always calling for advice, whichTracy and Dr. Kramer are always there to give. Quick story. My Staffie decided it would be fun sneak onto my kitchen table and it a full box of munchkins. I immediately called Dr. Kramer. Even through it was after hours and he was on his way to teach a lecture, he gave me advice on what to do. About an hour or so later, after his lecture, Dr. Kramer called back to see how she was doing. I never get that kind of service anywhere!

Too expensive. Took them my cat who has a skin problems and asked to keep the costs down. It seems like they saw us coming. They suggesting everything under the sun to run up the bill to over $500. They did everything but what was needed. I later took him to Green Forest Vet in Glen Cove. In no time at all she it figured out, gave an antibiotic and days later the cat is on the mend. Cost $135. Also, HA Hosp. couldnt handle the animal and sedated him for an extra $80. Prior to GFV I bought a natural sedative at pet smart: $10 for about 10 uses which does the trick. If you go to HAH, you better have $$ in the bank.

Starting with Dr. Mort, the Huntington Animal Hospital has cared for at least 4 of my dogs since the early 80s. Dr. Jeffs love of animals shines through each time we visit. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Dr. Jeff not only cares for our beloved pets, he is the most caring when it is time for us to let them go. One year ago we adopted an 8 yrs old rescue Yorkie, named Fred.. None of us would have made it without Dr. Jeffs assistance. I have recommended Dr. Jeff to many of my friends...., they think he is great too!

Love Dr Kramer and his staff! Hes been my vet for nearly 18 years.He cares not only for the animals but for the families. He is very understanding and will spend time with me to review all my options. He has helped me with all the events in my pets lives from puppy to end of life with all that comes between. His staff is very friendly and caring. I know when I walk into his office, my pets are in good, loving hands. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Kramer and his staff.
